The entire Balena operation is a complete failure
I ordered a blanket chest.
I received it incomplete. Instead of sending the missing mounting materials (screws, etc.) by mail, I had to return the entire incomplete order. This cost me a lot of time and effort to put the package in its original packaging.
Balena told me I'd have to wait all day for the carrier to pick up the package. I told Balena to call me an hour beforehand so I'd be home. That didn't work either. The carrier called 3 minutes before arrival, but thankfully at the end of the day.
On November 5th, Balena said my order would be delivered within 7 business days. On November 13th, I inquired about the delivery status of my order. I hadn't heard anything from Balena or the carrier.
Balena's response: a DPD tracking number. Apparently, I'm on my own.
No delivery of my order on November 14th. No delivery within 7 business days as promised by Balena.
The order is delivered at the end of the day on November 19th.
The order is AGAIN incomplete.
My suggestion to send the missing connection materials by mail is ignored. I can return the incomplete order and expect a new one. The procedure is the same as last time.
No apologies for delivering an incomplete order twice. They simply offer the same shoddy work again.
And nothing is Balena's responsibility; it's all the supplier and the carrier's fault. What amateurs they are.
The only thing Balena does well is respond quickly to emails, but their information and answers are completely inaccurate.
My incomplete order is being returned for the second time. Balena says I'll get my money back.
The entire Balena operation is a complete failure. I will never do business with them again.
