Unbelievably AWFUL I never knew an "insurance co" could be sooooo bad!!! Do not use them. You will never get reimbursed and you will spend HOURS arguing with them

Do not go with this company Absolutely the worst company to ever deal with. I have called for days trying to get my situation handled they hang up on me they won’t return phone calls and they are so rude I’m calling the better business bureau

You are their new unpaid employee This insurance definitely feels like a scam. You have to personally badger them in order for them to send the appropriate documentation and approvals to EVERY single office you visit, whether they are in or out of network. You become a secretary for this company with the way they make you manually connect doctors' office receptionist to their staff. They give you multiple numbers to call with multiple agents giving you different responses until you force them to give you the truth. Seriously, I have never logged so many hours chasing my own benefits plan. Example, I was told physical therapy coverage was unlimited, so long as you stay in network, the co-pay should not change. Now they tell us that after the 3rd visit, the price is increased but we can go as many times as we want under the new increased price. If we want the price to stay the same, we must upgrade despite having already been upgraded to the highest tier advertised by their own agents. This feels like extortion and at the very least is super misleading. Not to mention they forced us to upgrade last month since our original plan did not cover surgeries, despite originally assuring us it did. BBB needs to get on them soon!

OPTIMEDHEALTH HAS CHANGED FOR THE BETTER!!! My husband and I have had Optimed Health insurance for 1 year 2 months. In 2022 I had spinal surgery which should have been covered with $350 copay; my husband went into ICU for 2 days which should have been covered with $350 copay; my husband had a stint put in which should have been covered with $350 copay; my husband went to ER which should have been covered with $350 copay. ALL OF THESE they denied. And this was after our surgeries were pre certified and ok'd from our doctors office through the insurance company that it was TO BE COVERED. They denied EVERYTHING for total crap reasons and we continued to get stacks of bills & our EOB's where they denied it all. In 2022 their claims department was S&S healthcare so I would call and there was nothing anyone could do. Not only were we BOTH going through major medical issues at the time, the thousands and thousands of dollars in medical bills we were getting made everything a million times worse IT. WAS. ABSOLUTELY. AWFUL. So then Jan 1 2023 they changed claims department from S&S Healthcare to Optimed. I continued to write to S & S Healthcare as, at this point, NOONE was answering the phone for me anymore so writing was my only other option. And lo and behold, several months later...S & S Healthcare IS NOW PAYING. For my back surgery, my husbands ICU, ER, stint...they are now paying it all like they should have been beginning 9 months ago in Sept 2022. I just continued to write them when I would get yet another denial letter from them in the mail. Sometimes it would be the 3rd time writing them on something they previously denied 2 times!! UNBELIEVABLE. So something has majorly changed. My insurance agent who sold me this insurance over a year ago just text me when I was at my 1 year mark with Optimed Health as he knew how freaking frustrated and pissed off I was with this insurance. I told him "Nah, for some reason they are now paying so I am going to stick with them for now and see how it goes" And so that is what we are doing. I really thought it was S & S Healthcare but they are paying for everything now that they denied 1,2 and sometimes 3 times from 2022. We are all better now so no more surgeries and hospitals in our future hopefully for a long long time. I just want everyone to know, please, if you have anything they have denied, write the claims department. They have changed. Not sure what or why and I do not care, as long as we are getting everything covered that we were told would be covered. Now I don't have any of these bills not paid and ruining our credit. I am SO happy! OptimedHealth is a VERY GOOD insurance company & well worth giving a shot. If they start denying again I will not hesitate to get back on here and let y'all know about it. But for now I am pretty freaking impressed with how they have turned things around for the better. THANK YOU.
The most horrible insurance I complained about not being able to use it paid 500.00 and was not able to use it even though I was told my primary care was on there and my Dr. Never heard of it . It was a waste of my money...I talk to a manager and she was going to call me back and that never happened .....Beware!!!!

I've been here twice for a PCR test and both times were great experiences. The staff is friendly/upbeat (which was a very pleasant surprise and helped me feel less anxious), professional, and quick. I will use this OptiMed location in the future if needed, and recommend it to others.

Got a test here and waited 4 days for no one to contact me with the results. I had to call them to even get them to look at the results. Don't advertise 24-48 hour results if you aren't going to deliver that. The woman I spoke to said "someone should have called you, I don't see a note here saying they didn't call so I assumed they did". Terrible customer service.

Staff was incredibly nice but the COVID test wasn't administered properly. The process of the employee coming to my window with the test, getting my app scanned, and then administering the test only took about 15-20 seconds. Most of the time spent on scanning my app. They should have spent at least 15 seconds testing each nostril. Per every test I have taken for COVID. I now have to go to another facility for another test.
