Booked james for our wedding in July 2021, we had to postpone from July 2020 due to covid, james remained with us all the way... what a gent to deal with, I'm not great myself with pictures, what can I say, James had me beaming from ear to ear all day.. he just made both our families at complete ease all day.. he isn't just a photographer, he's a friend to everyone... would 100% recommend Jimmy, his enfectious laugh and smile, would put anyone at ease.. an absolute pleasure to work with...

Booked James for my wedding in March. From the minute he walked in the door he was making us feel so comfortable made us laugh all day. He just fitted in perfectly. He got some great shots. As it was a covid wedding we left our hotel to visit grandparents and James just jumped in the car and followed us no hesitation.His work is just something else. We got the album made and James was so fast and delivered to our door. He also went above and beyond with a special gift for us due to a passing in the family soon after our wedding. I would 100% recommend James and I will be booking him hopefully soon for my daughters communion. Definitely 10/10.

James came in to play when I was desperately seeking for a new photographer since the initial photographer I booked for August 2020 won't be available for August 2021, due to prior bookings.
However, I cannot emphasis enough how delighted I am to have found and now booked James for my husband's surprise birthday party.
His professionalism along with his expedient responses to my emails as well as understanding and accommodations was more than enough for me to book him straight away. Although there were other photographers out there with some pretty impressive websites/resumes - I am confident I made the right choice in choosing him.
I've given him 5 stars now for ALL the reasons stated above and am sure I will give him 5 more after the August 2021 event. Please turn in for Part II next year, since I am certain the pictures will be as delightful as his person.

Had a photoshoot with James last week. I was a little nervous as it was my first photoshoot but once we got into the car, I was instantly feeling relaxed. He had an amazing vision of going to an abandoned house and shoot photos there. The journey was entertaining and full of laughter and chats, even when we were shooting the atmosphere was light and giddy. I was guided with poses, we went through many ideas. His equipment was professional and the photos came far exceeding my expectations.
Would highly recommend! A great day and an amazing experience!

James was fantastic. All of the locations he took us to were breathtaking. James has a great sense of humor which made my bride and I feel really comfortable in front of the camera. If you need a photographer for any event, you’d be a fool to not go with James.

My nephew had asked me to help set up His wedding in Macroom, County Cork, Ireland. I made a few phone calls to friends and within days we were set except for someone to capture the day in photos. There was only one man I knew that we would entrust with the duties of ensuring this day was remembered as we saw it. I contacted James at JOD Photography and by God he didn’t disappoint. He actually exceeded all expectations and my nephew and his wife will have THE BEST wedding album in the USA!! James knows when and where to shoot all pictures and the results are amazing. Thank you James for the care and memories you gave to us all. I have never seen photos like these in my life!!!

My daughter paid for this photographer as a gift for her brother/my sons wedding. I had seen some photos from a previous wedding where my daughter was bridesmaid. Didn’t know what to expect as had only seen a few pictures he had done, well knock me down with a feather, one word stunning. From my point of view, a family that half of us never have pictures taken, to be put at ease, sometimes not even realising the photos were being taken, showed us what a true professional James is. Epic, would defiantly recommend for any occasion, especially a wedding.

I would highly recommend JOD Photography. I booked James to photograph my sons 1st Holy Communion. James was fantastic from start to finish so professional but so fun aswell. My son is very camera shy so I was worried that we wouldn't get many if any photos on his very special day. The minute James got to our house that morning my son warmed to James and was relaxed with him. I have to say James did a great job he got brilliant photos of my son and all of the family. My older son and daughter have since done a photos shoot with James aswell.

We had Jimmy to do our wedding on December 2017he was absolutely brilliant from start to finish we then got him to do confirmations and holy communion and I can't praise him enough as he makes everyone feel comfortable not telling people stand this way do this do that etc everyone that will book Jimmy will NOT be disappointed that's a guarantee as he captures moments that you don't even know he's taken until you see the photos I can't wait for our next occasion to get him again 10/10 completely

We had James for our wedding in September. To say he is gifted is an understatement. He had us laughing all day,had my 3 kids in fabulous humour, got the most personal and intimate photos imaginable.
He posed only a handful of pictures, all the rest were candid, and we hardly knew he was there.
His humour, ideas and character were a huge bonus to our day.
12+ hours nonstop he took pic after pic. Not stopping until he got the perfect shot.
We had him for our day after party too, and he was just as brilliant.
I really can't reccomemnd him enough. Everyone I speak to,I tell them to get James for their wedding or event.
I have him booked for in a few months time to do a family shoot, and I honestly can not wait to see what amazing images he conjures up.
5* to James. He really is the best and most understanding and fun photographer I've ever come across.
