We had a terrific experience with DeVol in completing a total renovation of our kitchen, installation of continuous flooring on our first floor, Installation of a 2nd floor HVAC system, fixing our front porch, and completing aesthetic repairs to the exterior of our 100yr old home in Hyde Park, Cincinnati. The DeVol Team was extremely open and collaborative during the planning phase. They did a great job of coordinating efforts with Brian Schwieterman (ESM Architects) and Annie Miller (Annie Miller Design). This trio of companies worked great together and produced a terrific result. During project execution, DeVol provided clear timelines and made many accommodations for us to live on-site during most of the project. We look forward to working with DeVol again in the future when we tackle our master bathroom.

I did a lot of research and interviewed several companies looking for the right one to remodel our bathrooms to include universal design. As we age, I want our home to be safe for us, and functional regardless of age or ability, so we won't need to leave it. I had priorities that were non-negotiable. As all of my family are immunocompromised or at risk, everyone who comes in our home must be masked at all times. I wanted the lowest maintenance materials and design possible, as I am beyond done with cleaning grout. I was surprised that those two things were too much to ask for some companies I spoke with. Mike and Kelly worked with us on every bit of it, and made sure we were happy with every aspect, from the big issues like layout of the bathrooms, to the fidgety stuff like fixtures and colors. Scott and his team were fabulous. They were very respectful, and wore a mask indoors 100% of the time, so we felt safe with them. They made sure to get our input so that everything from grab bars to sink and mirror placement were just right. Every time an issue came up, which is inevitable in an old house, they solved it with zero fuss. They were careful around the basement waterproofing we had just had done. They paid attention to every detail. They made sure to clean up every day before they left, and hauled away the trash. Mike and Scott and Kelly all communicated in a timely manner, and always kept us up to date on expectations - whether it was ETA on delivery of materials or the timeline of work. We could not be happier with their work! I recommend them wholeheartedly, with NO reservations. We would absolutely hire them again, and will once we are ready to redo the kitchen.

Over 15 years ago Devol Design remodeled our house in Anderson Township. We converted a garage into a kitchen- dining room and added a new stair tower. The house was transformed from a cramped, compartmentalized 1970 transitional to a modern, open and spacious space with sight lines to multiple rooms from every room. The remodel has aged well! A testament to the quality of the workmanship. We brought DeVol Design in to complete the necessary remodeling to make our new home Handicap Accessible for my mother who has Parkinson's Disease and is wheelchair bound. We needed the work done quickly and had a challenging set of circumstances as the contractor originally hired to complete the job had failed miserably, making it impossible for my mother to move in on the date anticipated. DeVol Design has been my "go to” contractor for a number of years. Strong tradesman backup by an honest, hardworking general contractor has been their hallmark. I highly recommend talking to Jeff about your next project. Easy to work with and highly responsive. His team is exceptional. Not only is it clear that they take pride in doing quality work, but they care about doing right by the homeowner. They even called out an HVAC issue which was not part of their scope and made sure the HVAC contractor corrected that issue properly. We love our new kitchen and will be calling Jeff for our next project(s).
