Jill is absolutely fantastic and we had an amazing time at our colour party! Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to have a colour reading or colour party!

This was the first time I had my colours done.I waited until I was well over a certain age and beyond before taking the plunge. Well, I should have had it done much sooner. Forget the image of yesteryear and certain “types”who have their colours done. It is absolutely for everyone. Jill travelled to me, a considerable distance, with emails flying back and forth. She was friendly and personable, and gave me great tips. Repurposing and remixing was high on the agenda, and there is no need for a huge range of makeup if you don’t use it. In other words, the advice is very person specific, so it’s up to you. A few pieces went, just a few, and I shall be concentrating on a Core Wardrobe now, feeling confident in my new colour wallet. A lot of my existing clothes were close enough to fit, so I shan’t be wandering around with the wallet and a magnifying glass to “get the colour.” There is enough tolerance in the shades range to find a close match. I shall definitely explore repurposed clothes sites, and if I buy new, examine the finish inside the garment. Jill advised that is a good indicator of quality. I should have done this sooner, I was lucky to find an excellent Consultant. I might even book for a wardrobe cull! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her, for a one to one or a group booking or Girl’s Night In. Thank you so much Jill, I have a new outlook now.

I’ve just got back from a Dominant Colour Analysis with Jill and it was a fantastic experience! Jill is super welcoming and easy to gel to, making you feel very at ease and comfortable. I absolutely loved the experience of discovering what colours look great on me, and was really eye opening to see that colours I wouldn’t normally be drawn to looking really good against my skin tone and eyes. I am very excited to make some clothes purchases now! Thanks!

Thoroughly enjoyed my session discovering my primary colours. Jill was warm and friendly as we looked not just at what colours work but why they work for me. I’ve come away armed with far more knowledge and understanding of what works best for me. Who knew that yellow was one of my colours?! I couldn’t wait to put my new found knowledge to the test so combined a couple of colours that I wouldn’t have thought to do before - the best testimony to the session was the first thing people said to me when they saw me was how lovely I looked and what amazing colours they were! Five friends had a great afternoon at our colour party with Jill. She had a lovely manner and was very informative and also highly professional. We didn't feel rushed, but Jill took time with each of us to help us find out how we could use our colours to become the best version of ourselves. She encouraged us that even just wearing the correct shade of lipstick could transform what we looked like. Thank you.

Jill helped me to clear out my (3) very full wardrobes and chest of drawers. They were literally bulging at the seams with clothes. I have been hoarding clothes, and buying more when I’ve felt unhappy with my body shape. Many items still had their tags on. Jill helped me to cut the emotional connection I had to all of the clothes and slim down the contents of my wardrobes and drawers by 2/3s. I have discovered items I’d forgotten about; chosen items to keep that fitted well and were the right colours for me. I had been so utterly overwhelmed, the entire process was really cathartic and made a lot easier with Jill’s support. So, a HUGE and heartfelt thank you to Jill. I would thoroughly recommend this You Hue option if you need some help de-cluttering!

Just returned home from a full colour analysis with Jill at YouHue. I'm amazed at the thoughts and perspective she has given me on my palette and dominant colours. I wasn't expecting to have my make up done, so this was a nice surprise when I got the email before my appointment. It was so interesting to see what new colours and techniques Jill suggested I could try. Jill is so knowledgeable and I've come away feeling so much more confident in knowing which colours suit me. Some were unexpected and even colours I usually avoid thinking they wouldn't suit me, and others are colours I already know and love! I'm excited to look at my wardrobe again with my new knowledge and will definitely use this experience to shape how I put together outfits in future! I found the whole session fascinating and would recommend to anyone who is interested to know a bit more about their colour palette. Thank you!

Jill as 'you hue' (great name by the way) promises a lot and does not disappoint! She came to a birthday celebration at my house and did an individual colour analysis and lipstick shade for all 9 of us. She even fitted in an extra guest at short notice. She had a very positive and professional approach, and was warm and friendly at the same time, creating a relaxed atmosphere. She made the time to answer questions and give make up tips too. Everyone was delighted with the experience, and went away happy with their top 10 colours and goody bags. We are planning a clothes swap party next! Thanks for the info on the trolley! It was lovely to get to know you a little Jill, every success for the future.

Wow! This was really fascinating! Jill is cool, friendly and it was great to spend time with her today. In a couple of hours my perspective on which colours suit me has totally changed. Highly recommend and a great thing to do with a close friend.

I have wanted to do this for years and it did not disappoint. Even though as an ‘artist’ I know about colour (and what I like and don’t like) I learnt a lot about how to adapt my outfits to really complement my colouring and draw attention to my eyes. As soon as I got home I headed straight for a play in my wardrobe. Can thoroughly recommend

We welcomed Jill from You Hue, to our Ladies Group in Roughton. We had a fabulous evening with Jill, she comes across really well and interacts with everyone. All the ladies came away with learning something either about the right colour to wear for your hair and eye colour or the right lipstick.
