Whisky tour Our group consisting of 5 men traveled with Avril for 3 days. She showed us several distilleries in the Highlands and in the Speyside area. Avril is an excellent driver and perfect guide, she knows a lot about the area and the history of Scotland and knows the nice places. Moreover, nothing too bad, helping and assisting with the corona tests was no problem for her either. Thanks again Avril for the great time we had.

Fantastic We had great time with Avril's travels, she is a very knowledgeable and fun tour guide, we took the Highlands, Dunrobin and Dornoch tour the first day and she tailored the second day to the things we wanted to see and do. Avril went out of her way to make sure we did everything on our list and enjoyed ourselves, we were collected and drop off from our hotel in a very nice clean and new minibus, with all the covid measures in place that made us feel safe and comfortable, I could not recommend her services enough. Thank you Avril

Thank you Avril! We had a fantastic day’s tour with Avril. So friendly and great fun to be with. Showed excellent knowledge. Loved our customised tour which made us feel very special. Outstanding This was an exceptionally nice tour to avail when visiting the Highlands. There could be nothing more comforting than such a friendly guide and the wonderful interactive journey throughout the day.

A great tour from Invergordon port Had a really great tour. Avril was friendly and very informative with a real passion for her local area. Showed us so much in a day and was very happy to adapt the tour to suit our wishes. Bus was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend ?

Perfect tour of the Highlands Avril is highly recommended and certainly went above and beyond to give us a perfect day. She is extremely informative and more importantly tailored the itinerary to enable us to get to see all that we wanted to. We did this on a cruise and are so glad we didn’t book a cruise excursion which would have entailed sitting on a bus for hours. If you are looking for a tour which is competitively priced and wanting to see all the sights don’t hesitate to book Avril!

Prompt, friendly, good value I needed to transfer 5 blokes and 5 gravel bikes plus gear from Inverness to Newtonmore. Avril was the best priced option, with a box trailer (room for a couple more gravel bikes I reckon) and comfortable (and brightly coloured!) 7 seater minibus. Nothing was too much bother, arriving for the pick up 50 minutes early due to a last minute change of itinerary and stopping off for a food shop along the way. Avril is full of life, clearly enjoys a good chat and has a killer kilt! I can't recommend any more highly

Delightful and Enthusiastic We were a group of twelve friends who had a fantastic trip to Scotland one year ago (May 2019). In this time of staying close to home, it makes the memories of our trip to Scotland even more special. Avril made our week in the Highlands so relaxing. She filled all our transportation needs, from our arrival at the train station in Inverness, shopping for groceries and taking us to very different locations and experiences that made our vacation extra wonderful. She picked us up at our farmhouse location for our tours and even recommended a chef couple who prepared a top notch Scottish 5 course meal at our residence one evening. She knows all the good photo stops. 5 Stars. We toured the three “Ds” on our last cold wet windy day together. Great suggestion for the weather. Also toured part of Skye and Ben Nevis, Fort William and Loch Shiel. Lynne and Mike

Difference between a good trip and a great trip A superb person, driver and guide. I cannot say how pleased we were to have hired Avril and her bus to drive our group around the highlands of Scotland. From meeting us at the train station to getting us to Skye to Ben Nevis to any number of distilleries and a week later back to the train station was an incredible journey and experience. Avril made this all happen.

Great Time We just returned home from the Highlands of Scotland. We were a group of Canadians and one of our guys booked Avril on the internet and by telephone. He assured us that we would be in good hands and we were in good hands indeed. Avril was a lovely Scottish lass who's service was excellent. She was prompt, knowledgeable, informative, a great driver and she was fun to travel with. We had a few ideas of what we wanted to see and do and Avril was spot on with her ideas and suggestions as to how to make it happen, which also included stops at sights, castles, shops, distilleries and restaurants. We learned lots about the area and its history and how we Nova Scotians fit in to it all. Most of us had Scottish heritage. Of course the scenery was spectacular!!! We so enjoyed Avril's company and delightful personality and by weeks end were exchanging emails. I highly recommend Avril's Travels!!!!

Avril is an awesome guide! We were on a cruise which stopped in Invergordon. We didn't book directly with Avril, she took over our tour from another tour operator and we're so glad she did. She was there waiting for us with a big smile on her face and brought us to her beautiful new purple van. The 6 of us really enjoyed the day - from our first stop at the Clootie Well (look it up) to our last stop driving around Invergordon. Avril was a wealth of information about the history of Scotland and the areas we visited. She shared personal information/stories with us which enhanced the tour experience. She made sure we saw as many sites as we could in our allotted time but never rushed us, giving us extra time when we wanted it. I highly recommend Avril and would definitely book a tour with her if I'm lucky enough to visit that part of Scotland again.

Whisky tour of Speyside with Avril We had the pleasure of spending a long day of whisky tasting in Speyside. Our hotel arranged for a bus for 14 of us to go to a number of distilleries, and we were overjoyed to get Avril as our driver for the day. We had a super comfortable bus, with great music (the Red Hot Chili Pipers? Amazing!). Avril thoughtfully provided waters and Irn Bru for everyone. Avril was a great guide - lots of local knowledge and insights into the areas we traveled through. We had an awesome day and would definitely use Avril’s Travels whenever we are back in the area.

OMG what a trip :) I worked with Avril on a couple of tours and OMG her passion for the Highlands shines through... her knowledge of the area is great she pulls off being a driver AND guide effortlessly. and amazing experience and highly recommended 5*****
