We tried three separate care agencies when arranging care for my Grandparents. Verilife carers were the only ones of those we tried that would spend every moment of the care calls talking with my Nan and Grandad, singing along with them and treating them with unfaltering respect and dignity. They communicated clearly with us about anything they needed to and we cannot thank them enough.

Petra from Verilife is one of the kindest people I have ever met. She really cares about her staff & all of the wonderful people she cares for. I can’t recommend Petra & her company more highly. Hi I’m Billie and I have worked at Verilife for 7 years I love my job and love spending time and caring for my clients. I feel blessed that I have met and known so many wonderful people doing this work. The office staff have have always been there for me and always made me feel worthwhile and respected I have never had any problem with any of the staff or fellow carers in all the years I’ve been here which makes working at Verilife a pleasure.

I have worked for Verilife for two years now and there is no other agency like Verilife. Verilife feels more like a family. Supportive to all employees. Management will try to help you in all situations. The office staff have different characters so there is never a dull day. I hope to continue in the "Verilife family" for many years to come.

Bad experience as an Employee.
I was told to pay for the DBS but I did not pay for it. I did a 4 day Care certificate Training with them but they did not give me my certificate. False promises/hope of work given during training. I have got 2 shifts in 3 months. Some long (multiple clients) shifts are expected to be done walking or by Public transport. Shifts end later than stated on Rota because travel time and break not included within.
I have not been paid for one shift till date. Do not expect traveling time or a Break while doing a long shift.
Management not good, no communication.
Slave labour....hard work and less pay.
Sometimes no pay.
Cannot understand why they hire more employees when there are already fixed employees working with regular clients.
Very disappointed with this company.

I am sorry that you were dissatisfied with your time at Verilife. I would like to take a moment to address a number of the points you made. A care-certificate has two parts, the first is classroom-based and the second part is completed within your role (over a 3 month period). In the end, you are assessed and if you 'make the grade' you will be issued with your Care-Certificate. If you completed your training then please drop me a line at info@verilfe.co.uk and we will forward it on. The company deliver domiciliary-care and that is caring for the vulnerable in their own home. Care-workers travel to their clients using a variety of methods. We cannot provide company vehicles as Social Services simply do not have the budget for this. I can assure you we do provide travel time and have extensive mechanisms to ensure that this happens (part of a system update in 2018). I can also assure you that we pay our care-workers for their time and this allegation is a complete falsehood. If you feel different again contact me on the above email. Regards Verilife

Don't work for this company. They will take money off you for a DBS check and not do it and keep your cash. They give you a grotty job for deadful pay.
You have been warned !
We make it very clear that care-workers pay for their own DBS, this is their own certificate which they can transfer from company to company as such it is their own 'personal' property. After your week of training, you are sent to deliver care with a team-leader. During the supervision, you need to attain a standard of care that represents Verilife standards and CQC.
