The camp was great! I stayed for 3 nights. The trainers are all very friendly and helpfull. You can use the gym if you want. The rooms are decent, the matras is a little hard.
Checked in for a 1 week juice cleanse and muay thai package. Day 2 and was not given any juice. Refused to reply until 3pm when office open. Wasted a lot of money on an unserious place. If you want a visa!! But not for detox its expensive and the staff are not serious. Offered no refund and only credit i cant use as they are busy on the dates i reuest!

As reviews are very important for future guests, we would like to clarify the facts of your stay accurately and transparently.
1. About the lunchtime juice delivery
You booked our 7-day Detox Program, which includes three juices per day.
On the day in question, our staff went to deliver your lunch juice, but there was no appropriate moment to hand it to you directly at the scheduled time.
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot leave juices unattended outside the room.
Shortly after the delivery attempt, the team entered their lunch break (12:00–15:00), during which administrative services and guest interaction are paused for all guests.
Your juice became available again once the office reopened at 3 PM.
This was a single delivery delay of approximately two hours, caused by a timing mismatch between the scheduled delivery window and the moment when handover was possible.
2. Cancellation of your detox program
Despite this being a temporary delay, you requested: Cancellation of rest of your detox program.
Our policy states that Detox Plans cannot be cancelled or refunded once started, as ingredients and preparation are arranged in advance.
However, we still made an exception as a gesture of goodwill: all remaining detox days were cancelled, you received a refund for the unused portion.
This was beyond what our policy requires.
3. Early check-out and credit
After cancelling your detox plan, you then chose to check out 4 days earlier than your original booking.
Early departures are non-refundable, which is standard for accommodation providers. Even so, we offered you a credit for future use, again outside of what our policy obligates.
When you later attempted to use this credit, the dates you selected were fully booked unfortunately. We cannot displace other guests who already hold confirmed reservations; this applies equally to everyone.
4. About pricing
Our Detox Program pricing is fully transparent and publicly listed.
At the time of booking, you agreed to : the price, the program contents, the schedule, the terms and conditions.
Many guests complete the same program with satisfaction, and our pricing is aligned with similar detox retreats in Thailand.
While personal expectations can differ, the fact remains that the price and inclusions were clearly disclosed and accepted by you before your arrival.
Requesting a refund because the experience did not match your personal expectations does not change the transparency of the pricing.
5. Our stance
Throughout your stay, we followed our policies while making multiple exceptions to assist you as much as possible.
We remain committed to fairness, clarity, and respect in all guest interactions.
Most visitors value the structure and peaceful environment we offer.
Not every program suits every traveler, and that is perfectly understandable.
I stayed at the camp for six weeks and it’s been absolutely excellent and I’ve really enjoyed my stay here. I’ve felt so welcomed and safe, especially being a solo female traveller, this property is very secure and professional.
From the reception staff, house keeping staff, the owner and all the coaches, they are all extremely attentive, helpful, supportive and friendly. They are always there to help or support you in any way and I’m very pleased that I chose this camp. 10/10 service.

All the coaches are so friendly and I felt so supported while being taught. They pay a lot of attention to detail, they made it very fun and they made me feel very comfortable. I definitely will miss them all. Very clear instructions, great structure, very professional and overall just an excellent experience.
The hygiene of this camp is exceptional, house keeping staff are amazing at keeping the place in top condition and it made it a lovely place to train. The rooms are very well maintained and a nice place to relax and recover from training.
I would definitely recommend this camp for people who wants to lock in and learn the art of Muay Thai and I definitely will miss everyone here.
This was our first time doing Muay Thai, the coaches, staff and facilities were all incredible. They also have an onsite gym that you can use if you're not taking part in a session or on the breaks.
We stayed in a private room on site which was very convenient. They had a smoothie bar too which was delicious.
The owner of the facility Danny, always came into the gym to speak to everyone which was lovely. All of the coaches are incredibly friendly and experienced.
I would highly recommend this to anyone, 10/10!
I would say this was the best experience i had in a long time, the team was amazing the trainers learned me a lot and in just two weeks i got to learn mmuay thai without any experience. Would definitely recommend
Had an amazing experience at The Camp! Did the detox week, training twice a day - was tough but loved every moment of it. The coaches were great...it was basically like getting 1:1 sessions every time. They corrected technique, we're very attentive and professional. I will definitely be back!
My favorite place in changmai. The rooms are fantatic and optimal value (I got a private room that was clean and simple but didnt feel cheap). Danny the owner manifest a culture of kindness and hard work that can be felt through the gym. Everyone is extremely welcoming as it was my first time with muy thai and martial arts.
I spent an amazing month at The Camp in Chiang Mai. I turned up with no previous experience at all, extremely out of shape and I left feeling fit and with a strong base level of knowledge of Muay Thai and boxing, such that I feel confident walking into any gym and feeling comfortable taking it up as a new hobby or just to train in different gyms throughout my travels. The accommodation is extremely clean, you have everything you need for either a long or short stay, and the staff are always on hand with anything you need. The level of tuition is way beyond what I expected, and this accelerates your growth so that each week you are seeing massive leaps in progress. Overall I had a fantastic experience and I will return In the future. It’s the perfect place to unplug from the world for a week or a month and just reset, focus on training and get back to being your best self.
