I had Straight Edge fully remodel my little old house near downtown Redlands. I am beyond pleased with their work! The job was extensive - new kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, full house repipe, and lots of electrical work. The job site was always clean and the subcontractors were prompt and efficient. The Straight Edge team worked very well together and kept me well informed as the work progressed. Straight Edge even went above and beyond by helping me pick up a couch because I don’t have a truck! I look forward to many years in this home thanks to the great team at Straight Edge.

They communicated every step of the way and provided regular updates, so we always knew what to expect. The team was professional, punctual, and there were multiple workers on-site every single day—not a day passed without progress being made. Their attention to detail in safeguarding non-work areas and maintaining a clean site at the end of each day was exemplary. They listened to what we wanted and were flexible, making adjustments as the project evolved. The quality of materials was top-notch, pricing was clear, and both the owners and the lead foreman were always available when we had questions or ideas. We had Straight Edge Builders redo our kitchen and it turned out absolutely beautiful! Mitch was honest, respectful, and such a pleasure to work with. He was patient with us throughout the whole process, which we really appreciated. At the beginning we had a few small misunderstandings, but Mitch handled everything so kindly and worked with us to get it all sorted out. In the end, we couldn’t be happier with how our kitchen came together—it looks amazing! It was also really nice working with a local business that truly cares about their customers. When they say they show up on time, they aren't kidding. After dealing with past contractors who don't respond to messages and are never there when they say they will be, Straight Edge Builders was a breath of fresh air. Each and every person I dealt with were courteous and professional. They don't look at you sideways when you have little messes here and there, they greet you with a smile and do a fantastic job. They repaired my chimney, coverted an old furnace closet into a storage closet, replaced a shed door, repaired drywall (you can't even see the repairs, installed a light, moved some light switches, and probably more I'm forgetting. If any details were not right, they fixed the problem. They are easy to communicate with, answering texts quite quickly and have a talented crew. I have them booked for some interior painting as well. They also accept several forms of payment. Highly recommended.

We did a kitchen remodel. It was a big project. Mitch & Dustin did very nice work. I was particularly happy with their workers each step of the way from demo to painting to tile installation. It was a pleasure doing business with Straight Edge Builders from start to finish. We had both our bathrooms remodeled. The quote was clear, listing each item and price. All members of the Straight Edge Builders team were professional, friendly, and courteous. They completed these projects within the timeline and budget. Each day they would start and finish at the same time, 7 am to 3:30 pm, and they cleaned up the work site each day before leaving. It was nice to have the evenings free to not worry about the clutter and noise of construction. We had trouble making some decisions about fixtures and designs, and then we'd change our minds. Mitch was very helpful and patient with us, giving us suggestions, and even saving us money. We will definitely use Straight Edge Builders for future projects.

Straight Edge Builders have been fantastic for us. We have used them for multiple jobs and will continue to use them. My biggest issue with contractors is them showing up when they should and finishing to budget. For all of our projects (which are complex and long) they have hit deadlines and stayed in budget. Their integrity is high and the craftsmanship is excellent. We will continue to use them for our projects.

Straight Edge Builders did a great job navigating the complexities of converting our two-story garage to a new home for my parents. They stuck with us as we worked to overcome mistakes by the architects (don’t hire Powell & Associates) and permitting issues. They always had someone working so we never felt abandoned for another job. This was important because we needed it done as soon as possible. This project was unique for a variety of reasons. The property is a historic landmark which required them to work well with our consultant and other specialty contractors. They balanced preservation requirements with modern design and handicapped accessibility throughout. Overall, Mitch and Dustin exceeded expectations at every turn. They expertly customized the project to our unique needs. We would highly recommend them for any project that requires skill, adaptability, and a high level of care.

We hired Straight Edge Builders to do a remodel of one of our bathrooms. When I say they made our “Pinterest” dreams come true, I mean it. I had a specific look I wanted for the bathroom and they were able to achieve exactly what I wanted. The entire team was professional, kind and always on time. They cleaned up everyday so you didn’t feel like you were living in a construction zone. They only sub’d out one small part of the job, otherwise everything was completed by their in house team. At any phase of the project, they bring you in to make sure it’s coming out just as you wanted. We love our bathroom! I will definitely be using Straight Edge Builders for our next projects.
