Excelente viagem com Star Travel, Guia Hilmar para Myvatn área e banho. Definitivamente recomendaria Star Travel para fazer suas excursões em Akureyri. Hoje nosso Guia Hilmar mostrou-me e nosso pequeno grupo em um minibus (max 19 p) a área ao redor do lago Myvatn e Godafoss. Foi excelente. Hilmar nos deu muito tempo nas paradas (2 horas no banho de Natire, 40 minutos Godsfoss, etc. Definitivamente sem pressa, explicou tudo, andou conosco em todas as paragens e como um bônus nos disse onde ir em Akureyri. Ele foi acima e além. Aprendeu tantos fatos sobre contos populares, história, cultura da Islândia etc dele. Foi muito fácil encontrar o minibus da Star Travel na frente do cruzeiro. Eu recomendaria trazer um saco de plástico para suas coisas molhadas depois de visitar o banho. Também comprar uma rede de rosto para os pequenos moinhos ou trazer um lenço e você está bem com esta pequena criaturas que não morder e necessidades da natureza. Vá para esta excursão com Star Travel e você não vai se decepcionar. Se você reservar em seu próprio site eles oferecem-lhe para comprar a entrada para o banho como um extra durante o processo. Recomendo fazer isso. Eles têm muito boa política de cancelamento (o mesmo que o TripAdvisor) .

Tanto para ver August foi nosso guia turístico e ele foi um cara genuinamente agradável que saiu do seu caminho para nos dar boas informações e para cuidar de nossas necessidades. Vimos tantos locais, incluindo cachoeiras, formações vulcânicas e muitas outras coisas. Ele era fácil de entender e não podemos dizer coisas boas o suficiente sobre ele. Não perca este tour.

Schöner Familienausflug vom Kreuzfahrtschiff zum See Myvatn und Godafoss Wir waren im Juni 2024 mit einem Kreuzfahrtschiff in Akureyri und wollten mit unserem 10 Monate alten Baby einen Landausflug machen, um uns die Region anzuschauen. Leider war es nicht ganz einfach einen Anbieter zu finden, der bereit war ein Baby mitzunehmen. Letztendlich haben wir uns für Star Travel entschieden, da man uns hier recht unkompliziert signalisiert hat, dass dies möglich wäre und man auch einen passenden Kindersitz bereitstellen könnte. Morgens hat uns dann unser Guide Rúnar pünktlich direkt am Schiff mit einem Kleinbus abgeholt. Die Gruppe bestand insgesamt nur aus 6 Personen und der passende Babysitz für unseren Kleinsten war auch bereits im Bus. Rúnar hat sich als ein toller Guide erwiesen, da er mit seiner freundlichen, entspannten und lockeren Art uns immer wieder viele interessante und regionale Informationen erzählt hat. Wir konnten mit der Tour viel von der schönen und interessanten Landschaft rund um den See Myvatn sehen und natürlich den großartigen Wasserfall Godafoss erleben. Dabei verlief der Tag auch für uns als Familie mit Baby total unkompliziert und stressfrei. Letztendlich waren wir pünktlich wieder zurück am Schiff ohne uns Sorgen um die all abord time machen zu müssen. Herzlichen Dank an unseren tollen Guide Rúrar für einen unvergesslichen Tag in Island. Wir können Star Travel vorbehaltlos weiter empfehlen!

Experiência incrível! Uma vez na vida! Jon foi um guia turístico excepcional que percorreu o Lago Myvatn, Godafoss e Dimmuborgir! Ele tinha um conhecimento incrível sobre a geologia e a história da região. Ele conhecia todos os ótimos locais para fotos e fez de tudo para nos levar a algumas jóias escondidas na região! Recomendo este passeio para familiares e amigos!

A Lovely Tour Went on two separate tours with Reynir. First we did the Northern Lights tour, which Reynir was very accommodating and experienced on. We used prediction apps that said we had less than 20% chance to see the lights and we’re getting discouraged until Reynir showed up boasting a 90% certainty that we would see them. I thought he was just talking big because he’s a tour guide. We ended up seeing the most amazing and powerful lights. The next day, Reynir took us on the tour of Godafoss, Dettifoss, Mud Fields, Myvatn, and Hot Spring. Throughout the entire trip, Reynir was a delight. He was friendly, funny, and chatty, but not in an obnoxious way by any means. Showed a genuine love for the area and the job and moved at our pace. I wish we could bring him around with us everywhere. Must do.

Great Guide! Great Experience! Thank you Reynir! Had Reynir for Northern Lights out of Akureyri. We were worried about our chances as all the apps gave us less than 20% chance of seeing anything and it appeared very cloudy. Reynir showed up and said he felt good about it and liked our chances. He had done his own research. He took us out of the city where we saw more stars than in our lifetimes and there was the glow of the start of activity. After 30 mins or so, and after sharing hot chocolate and his keeping us warm in his vehicle, we began to see a spectacular show, including the rolling waves you see in videos. An absolutely amazing experience brought about Reynir’s knowledge and friendliness.

SO worth it! An absolutely charming excursion with a delightful hostess who was from Poland. We saw well known important sites as well as small off-the-beaten path locations. Everything felt fresh and unhurried although we were picked up and returned exactly on time. Highly recommend it!

Nice way to see the Lake Myvatn area This tour covered a nice variety of natural attractions. The guide allowed the group time to walk around the sites and take photos. A small amount of interesting commentary was given. We stopped at a small farm restaurant for a late lunch. Although I think it was a good choice to showcase Icelandic food and locally sourced ingredients, I would not have chosen this tour had I known that we were stopping here.

Diamond Circle Tour Highly recommend the all day Diamond Circle tour with Reynir. He took great care of us and the sightseeing was out of this world! Thoroughly enjoyed it and saw so much in one 8 hour period. Enjoyed very much.
