TL;DR: You know when you go to a cheap place for a haircut and then have to pay a real stylist to fix it? That’s how I feel about working with this firm. Small business owners: proceed with caution—especially if you can’t afford mistakes in your tax filings.
I hired this firm based on a $1,500 flat quote for corporate taxes, expecting clear communication and professional service. Instead, I received vague instructions, an incomplete Excel sheet, and no guidance on how to input key items like subcontractor fees or dividend payments. No one reviewed my submission before preparing inaccurate financials showing my business in the negative. If I hadn’t caught this error myself, it could have led to serious tax consequences.
When I brought this up, I was told there would be an additional $1,500 charge—essentially doubling the fee for work that only became necessary due to their own lack of clarity and oversight. I was also contacted for payment even though I was paying in agreed quarterly installments, and overcharged on one of the payments, which went unresolved despite a follow-up email.
I later had a phone conversation with one of the partners, who offered a fee reduction but made no effort to acknowledge their firm’s role in the mistakes. While the fee was reduced to $1,000, the lack of accountability was disappointing.
I’ve since moved on to a new accountant who has been far more transparent, communicative, and competent. If you’re a small business owner looking for reliable financial support—this is not the place I’d recommend.
Please do not use this accounter to do your taxes. They use to be good when his dad owned it but now the son took over and it's a mess. He did my ex boyfriend taxes and messed up my child benefits two years in a row by changing my commin law name and now this year we are going through separation, and he puts different dates from when we separated so now this month, I have no child benefits been trying to call him and he does not answer me and tells me how i've threatened his company to my ex boyfriend Instead of calling me back and trying to find a solution. Please don't get this company to do your taxes. Avoid the problems.

If you value your sanity and your finances, steer clear of this accounting firm. Don’t be fooled by the glowing reviews, they're either bought or written by clients who are unaware of the errors this firm makes behind the scenes. My experience over the past two years has been a nightmare.
Their bookkeeping was an absolute disaster. They never gave me access to the bookkeeping software they used, so I couldn’t monitor their work. I repeatedly asked for my records, and they would promise to send them but never followed through. They only relied on bank statements to do the bookkeeping and never asked for invoices. When I pointed this out, they told me the bank statements were enough to categorize my expenses. As an online business making online sales, they completely ignored my Shopify reports, even though I asked them to incorporate them. I had to end the bookkeeping contract to finally get my records and find out that most of my transactions were labeled as “unknown” in the ledger, and my income wasn’t categorized properly. I had to hire a new bookkeeper to redo everything from scratch.
Even after my new bookkeeper sent properly updated files for my corporate tax return, this firm still used their incorrect numbers. To make matters worse, they prepared my return on the very LAST DAY it was due, leaving no time to fix their mistakes. And mind you, this wasn’t even during the tax season, it was September, not exactly a busy time for accountants.
Their handling of GST/HST filing was equally incompetent. They filed all my GST/HST returns weeks late, to the point where the CRA was calling me asking why I hadn’t filed yet. When they finally decided to file them, they marked all the lines as $0, completely ignoring my income and ITC credits. They then proceeded to close my GST/HST account, claiming I didn’t need it since all of my income was from the United States and the $30,000 threshold only applies to Canadian income which I found later is inaccurate. How can a CPA not know this?
This firm is careless, unprofessional, and extremely disorganized. They caused me unnecessary stress, wasted my money, and left me to clean up their mess. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Find accountants who actually care about your business and won’t treat you like a paycheque.
