Unprofessional and unethical They quote a higher volume, didn’t clearly said my shipment could only leave once a month to ME (international), never provided the final volume or calculation of refund amount and wanted to refund me only when shipped and to my credit card when I paid by bank transfer And all this even before my shipment left the country Don’t use - feeling extorted !!!

This was the first time we were shipping large items to the US. Austin, Charlie and Tom were always very helpful and prompt in answering our many, many questions. The whole process from us reaching out for a quote to the pick up of our shipment was first class.

CONTAINER SHIPMENT UK TO SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA We were very impressed with the way the team managed the whole process of our container shipment to Sydney, in a very timely and professional manner. Andy the estimator, was precise with his figures and his quote was the most competitive on the market. His advice and knowledge of the Australian import regulations was invaluable and his flexible approach towards the removal dates, provided us with the confidence and peace of mind we needed, since we were also in between selling our home. The admin team consisting of Laurent, Charlotte, Helen and Rachel were awesome and extremely proactive. They methodically provided us with all the assistance and advice and we were able to process all the necessary documentation effortlessly and in good time. The crew led by Jamie, arrived punctually on the day of packing and they were ever so polite and friendly. They worked tirelessly throughout the day and somehow managed to box all our household items and furniture, including encasing two larger items into wooden crates, and also boxing items that were kept offsite in storage, ready for collection the next day. The shipment finally docked into Sydney within the estimated time frame. The whole experience was smooth and we thoroughly enjoyed working with the team. We would highly recommend anyone looking to ship their belongings overseas, to use the services of PSS International Removals. You will not be disappointed! This is a company that values integrity and maintains a high standard of service from start to finish.

DO NOT USE PSS DO NOT USE PSS. If you wish to have a smooth service and receive your belongings in the condition you sent them then use another company. PSS provided a totally unacceptable service from the moment of payment, throughout handling and during damage claims. PSS failed to pick up the household items from the right address on two occasions. Following this, they then attempted a delivery 10 days prior to the agreed delivery date. I then contacted PSS to arrange delivery for the correct date and requested an email confirmation to confirm the correct delivery date, they did not confirm this. I then had to contact the 3rd party shipping company directly and arrange for my own delivery. The items were then delivered in an incredibly poor condition, the boxes looked to have been thrown, dropped and abused throughout the shipping process. Upon opening the boxes there was damage to multiple items in multiple boxes. The damage included broken plates, smashed glasses, smashed vases and ruined clothing. All items were insured to their full replacement value. The claim was then passed onto the claims company, to which they responded with an estimated value of approximately 1/5 of the actual value. This then fell under the minimum claim value and therefore was denied by the insurance company. I have now been left with broken belongings and no reimbursement. There has been no responsibility taken by any of the PSS employees during this ordeal.

MIS SOLD COVER They Knowingly sold me insurance that would never be valid. Some stuff arrived broken. I claimed, It was rejected on the basis that PSS had not packed nor unpacked it. I packed it myself, and was not informed that I shouldn't. There is an insurance option that has a higher premium should you pack it yourself. I was not offered that. I was given one option. Unpacking is not a service they offer. And even if it was, PSS do not exist in New Zealand ( the destination) so any broken items to a shipment there would not be covered as soon as unpacked. As it would have been done by a different company. So, in order for any broken items to be covered I would need to be superman and be able to see through solid objects, so I could make sure they were broken before unpacking. I am not superman. Nor, is anyone else that I know, or know of. So any insurance sold was mis sold. Not to mention they mixed up the addresses when picking the shipment up, so they went to wiltshire, not london, to an address that doesn't exist. A mix of my pickup and contact addresses. And I had to then significantly alter my plans to work around their incompetence. And my record player is very broken. Other than that went without a hitch. I would ask for a refund for the insurance. But that isn't going to cover the cost of fixing/replacing my record player. All I want is to listen to the soothing sounds of Joni Mitchell's Big yellow taxi, with the familiar comforting crack. Or maybe a banger from bicep, the bass a little warmer as I brew my morning coffee. But no. I am forced to listen to crisp, cold, characterless digital via Spotify as I research legal grounds on selling an insurance policy which by its own terms and conditions makes any claim void. I jest. But I swear this is illegal. And I am quite cross.
Very good customer service and respond time Team is very helpful to arrange priority service and special delivery arrangement to fit my very tight schedule for customer satisfaction. Although the surcharge is bit higher but it is absolute alright at least with feasibility to solve customer problem. Communication and friendliness from delivery team also great for professional work. I will use this company again for my next shipment.
COSTLY AND STRESSFUL COSTLY, STRESSFUL AND UPSETTING EXPERIENCE!!!! This company caused us a lot of heartache, stress and extra costs. Very friendly and helpful when discussing your intended move and quick enough to take your money. However it’s a different story when it comes to the actual move. Office said they would tell us when crew would arrive but they didn’t. Crew were very friendly, polite and seemed to pack our furniture and belongings well. How wrong we were!!! We paid for a months storage and were told our belongings would be held in Belgium only to be told at a later date they were stored in U.K. We contacted PSS with a date we would like delivery only to be told as we were part of a consignment we would have to wait until they were able to deliver to the province/country that is now our new home. This cost us more money in rental fees as we couldn’t move into our new home unfurnished. After many phone calls, emails and many excuses we finally had a date for delivery. However a couple of days before our belongings arrived we were told we had to pay more money for customs duty on a motorbike we were shipping, but it was only an estimate and PSS would refund any over payment. If we didn’t pay our belongings would stay in U.K., so we had no choice but to pay. On the day of delivery we were very happy to be reunited with our belongings until the lorry was unloaded and we were 17 items/boxes missing. The heartache didn’t stop there, once we started to unpack we found many items broken, damaged, stained and smashed. We contacted the office immediately and told to complete an insurance claim and they would investigate the missing items. We had to constantly ring to chase updates but half the time staff were unavailable or didn’t call back or didn’t reply to emails. 3 weeks after our first delivery our remaining items/belongings arrived. We also sent many emails over several weeks and made phone calls to find out the exact amount paid to customs and requested a copy of the invoice. Eventually this was provided but were shocked to see we had been charged over 90% more than we needed to pay and PSS had made no effort to refund. It took 8 weeks of chasing to finally be reimbursed. We took out PSS extra insurance which cost £1500 only to be offered less than the items true value. After a fight we finally agreed a settlement figure, less their handling fee which meant we were reimbursed even less for our items. In hind sight we wish we’d never used this company for the sake of the money spent and the heat ache caused. BEWARE!!!!!!

Great initial experience Great initial experience, with Charlie being very patient organising things and Steve being lovely when collecting all the boxes. Now it's a waiting game for my boxes to arrive at their destination.

Terrible Terrible. All the good talk and attention up front, but when their designated removers came to load all our household furniture they just threw it all into the van. They then called me to say they had lost an item of our household furniture somewhere in their warehouse... then apparently found it whilst on the phone to me. Months after the shipment had left and not long before it was due to arrive they emailed me to say they had found my surfboard hanging around in their warehouse. They then offered to ship it free of charge even though I had already paid for it to be sent anyway! When I have tried contacting them to ask how they could have missed such a large item and to liaise with them to seek compensation for having to hire a board in the meantime they have now "ghosted" me!! Zero communication. Nothing. Very very unprofessional. DO NOT USE!!!!

Upon looking into this further, I can see that you have been in correspondence with Rachel your move manager, and she has provided updates on the surfboard being shipped to you. Kindly understand that we were not looking to charge you for sending out the surfboard, we had confirmed that this cost, along with quarantine charges would be covered by PSS. We are very sorry that this item was not included within your original shipment, I can confirm that in error, this was placed into a separate pod in our warehouse and was unfortunately not included when your goods were loaded into the container ready to be shipped. I understand that Rachel contacted you to advise this as soon as we were made aware by the warehouse and we have now also offered an amount of compensation following this. First Shipping Experience made easy by PSS Shipping for the first time, I had a lot to learn. I found the PSS systems easy to follow and use, and the support from the staff was outstanding, with a nominated person always available to promptly assist. My propertry has been collected in the UK but I have not experienced the shipment or delivery in Australia yet. An area for improvement was the pickup, where this function has been outsourced. The service was not as caring or professional as expected.

From the start communication was… From the start communication was amazing, Austin, Steve and all the team were very nice dealing with me and the stress of sending my stuff abroad. I am still waiting for my stuff to be delivered and will update this but as of now it was a very good experience. The team was clear on the invoicing and on charges that may be added through the process. Steve was amazing explaining me everything and being very easy to communicate with even before he came to pick up my stuff. Very pleased with the process !
