My friend had hired Daniel Shim for a litigation matter. Daniel is beyond incompetent (or maybe competent and just trying to milk this poor family for money) and has had 0 success in achieving any relief or results for my friend. ZERO SUCCESS!!!! There is no management at Pax law so there is absolutely no accountability on the part of Daniel or Pax Law. Shame on you all! Take your business to a firm that actually cares and takes care of their clientele instead of looking at them like walking dollar signs.

Based on my personal experience, this firm appears to focus primarily on the financial aspect of taking on multiple files rather than providing meaningful support or demonstrating full command over each case. In my situation, there was a lack of in-depth understanding of the file, and the handling felt generic rather than tailored to the specific legal issues involved. In my view, hiring a law firm or a lawyer is not about the number of files they take on, but about achieving results — and that was missing here. An immigration file represents real lives and families facing serious challenges, not merely an opportunity for revenue. Unfortunately, this perspective did not seem to be reflected in how my case was handled.
