Our go to spot for dinners out in town with partner and with friends and with kids (early dinners only). Love the ambiance, the staff is excellent, the smoky smell (not greasy - but a mix of bbq, spicy margarita, and something else that I can't put my finger on. Whatever it is, it smells like a fun night out with yum food). My favourites are all the cocktails and margaritas, the ceviche, the patatas, and the churros. I've had better tacos (in LA and Mexico) but this is pretty good for NZ. Highly recommend!

Wonderful meal. Every course was great. Loved choosing a few options so all 6 of us could taste the many options.

Excellent food, was really surprised as I don't normally eat Mexican food, but this was sensational. Service was also flawless and friendly.

Great find!
Excellent and friendly service, great ambience and really good food. Make the effort to find Paloma down the wee Lane off Helwick St - you’ll be happy you did!

We found this place by accident and I am so happy we did. They had fantastic cocktails and spicy and smokey options, which is incredibly hard to find in NZ. We did their special, which consisted of a shared starter, two tacos, a shared main, a shared side, and a shared dessert. The food was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The churros for dessert were fresh extra yummy. I would have eaten here a second night if we had found it earlier in our one month stay in Wanaka. There is truly nothing as good as this restaurant to be found. We ate at Kika and Arc and while they were good, it's hard to beat tacos and lamb quesidllas. You must go. The service was stellar as well.

Some of the best tacos I've ever had. The beef and chicken tacos were my favourite and they had little delicious sauce bottles on the side to top your tacos with. Corn chips with queso dip was also great, only complaint (not really) is that I wish there was more queso because it was so good! The waiters were also really lovely. Definitely recommend coming here for dinner ☺️

Walked into a great atmosphere, music and stylish designed room.
Really lovely staff and selection of food.
Slightly confused service with the wrong dish(es) being delivered to the table, but quickly sorted.
Food was vibrant clean tasting with superb home made salsa, this is not ya tedious cheese soaked nachos.
That said… I understand that Brussel sprouts are not traditional so perhaps this was why they were over grilled to within an inch of their lives.
All the more traditional dishes were fantastic.
Would absolutely recommend.
