I have received treatments from Gervais over the last three weeks for a long standing shoulder problem. I have been so impressed by his warm, kind, professional and expert approach and the suffering that I have sat with for nearly 6 months already seems so distant. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

After sustaining a back injury I have been having sessions with Cerys for the last 6 weeks. She has helped me immeasurably, increasing my mobility, flexibility and eliminating the pain I was experiencing. She also shared with me exercises and stretches to complete at home for continued improvement. Her relaxed and friendly sessions are a highlight of my week and I always come out feeling relaxed and positive.

It was my first experience with osteopathy, but Gervais made it really pleasant. I've been having problems with my shoulders for years, and a few sessions with him improved the symptoms. He also kindly recommended some helpful exercises via email which have been easing the pain and improve my shoulder muscles for longer term. I didn't expect the problem to vanish and it hasn't, but I definitely got the improvements I was looking for. I'd like to recommend him for anyone who is looking for osteopathy treatments

I have visited osteopaths over the years for occasional but debilitating back pain. This time it was because of pretty severe neck pain. I had tried someone local but found the ‘treatment’ unconvincing and the initial assessment perfunctory. Looking for a local alternative I came across The Plane Tree in Bethnal Green. John Mallinder, co-owner and director, promptly responded to a message asking for help, and directed me to see Gervais Roubeix who was able to see me quickly for a first appointment. I’ve since seen Gervais six times. His approach is different to what I am used to, and much better: I’d describe it as intuitive; he combines osteopathy with some acupuncture and with some cranial osteopathy. I rate him highly, and would recommend him to anyone.

I am 59, male and visited Osteopathy London with chronic peripheral nerve and associated muscular pain. I had tried several disciplines and treatments over the years in the search of being pain free. John’s approach and treatment was thorough, holistic, and identified previously missed causal factors. I was also prepared to invest my time to follow his guidance which has brought sustained healing rather than only symptomatic relief. I can highly recommend his expertise.

John conducted some work on my 12 day old daughter to check her for tension post-birth. He was polite, caring, considerate, and more importantly his advice and diagnosis was perfect. He identified something that aided the breast feeding process and followed up in a non-intrusive way. I would recommend John to anyone with a small child who needs some advice.

Had an issue with a trapped nerve in my neck which wasn't being improved by physio services. Saw both Gervais and Cerys who listened and diagnosed my injury and provided treatments and exercises to successfully treat the problem. They come highly recommended from me, thanks again guys!

Cerys is great. Not only did she demonstrate expertise, but has a caring approach and a genuine concern for your wellbeing. The treatment was thorough and effective, providing me with much-needed relief. Totally recommend her!

Seeing Gervais regarding TMJ and bruxism difficulties, alongside issues with my neck and back has been wonderful. After my first session I felt more mobile and this been continuously improving! Gervais is excellent, he has worked both on my back problems (arising from a desk job & stress) and neck and shoulder injuries (arising from snowboarding). He is very thorough when talking about the issues I need addressed, and he also checks in very regularly during the session to gauge pain levels. He offers medical acupuncture as well, which has really helped with my back, neck and shoulder problems. I have recommended him to several friend and colleagues already.

Gervais was kind, thorough and extremely professional. He genuinely cared about my pain and finding the root of the problem.
