We used this service in August 2025 and would thoroughly recommend to others. From liaising with Cameron in organising the move from Edinburgh to Yorkshire, to Eric and Mack actually carrying out the move over a 2 day period, we were met with absolute professionalism and a first class service. On the moving days, Eric and Mack were thorough and efficient and took care of our belongings and delivered them in the same condition at the other end. We really appreciated Cameron following up afterwards too. Thanks to all mentioned above who helped make sure our move went very smoothly!
This was my first time using a removal company and I was quite nervous, especially with over two months of storage and a 200+ mile move involved. Cameron and the team made the whole process smooth from start to finish. They arranged a virtual walkthrough at a time that suited me, kept in regular contact leading up to moving day, packed everything quickly and carefully, and returned it all in the exact condition it left. I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough.
I used Movestore for my move from Edinburgh to East Lothian. The guys arrived at the time expected, packed EVERYTHING for me, took great care and when they arrived at my new house, asked me where everything should go , they didn’t just lay it down. I would not hesitate to use Movestore again .
MoveStore were great from start to finish. Their booking process was really quick and easy, and the packers were really great as well: thorough, careful and efficient. Everyone we dealt with, from admin to packers, were super polite, friendly and a pleasure to talk to. It made the whole moving process far less stressful. Highly recommend.

From my initial telephone call to my final settlement with MoveStore, I have been impressed! My entire home content needed removing and storing while work was carried out in my new home. The response from MoveStore has consistently been one of “no problem”. Time schedules have been accommodating and I have been informed of progress. The men carrying out the deliveries and moving of goods on three separate occasions have been equally accommodating. They have been alert to my situation and needs and polite and deft in their actions. I recommend MoveStore without hesitation. A joy to work with!

After contacting them about my move, we arranged a time for a video walkthrough explaining what needed to be done, this saved both of us time and an estimate was quickly done.
Andrew, Rory and Ryan arrived exactly on time and were efficient and courteous.
At the other end they swiftly unpacked and everything was put were indicated.
Nothing was stressful about the move and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Great service received. Contacted them needing a removal company quickly and they were able to fit us in due to a cancellation, thanks! While I was at work the 2 lads arrived and it all went smoothly and perfectly, all updates were by email which didn't disturb me at work and they were very accommodating to my pregnant girlfriend, leaving her a chair to sit down and just generally very helpful and efficient. Very poor customer service, no compassion or understanding. We were forced to cancel our move out of no fault of our own. We have a son with severe physical disability, and really took the time to consider various quotes, especially as this move was going to be stressful for various reasons. They initially seemed very responsive, but quickly realised that once the tables were reversed they only cared about getting paid for a service that they never provided. Within 5 minutes of finding out that our move was cancelled, I tried to explain that we had, in fact, called them 10 days prior to moving, as per their policy. I had only booked them one day before, and they did not even entertain the notion that we’d be happy to defer the cancellation fee to use towards another move with them (ensuring them more business in the future).I was told that two weeks wasn’t enough time for them to ensure another booking, and that they needed to pay their team. They would not confirm or deny if they could/did manage to schedule another move for that day to “recover their costs”… we hadn’t even paid them the cost as fees weren’t due until 7 days prior to the move. The stated that this was their cancellation/postponement fee, and when I indicated that I would be happy to postpone the move and use the fee as a deposit for another move, they proceeded to tell me that I could not do that. They seem to think that a postponement is the same as a cancellation.
