Lula promotes “quick access to cash” and “fast, reliable banking,” yet for three days I haven’t been able to access my own funds.
On Tuesday, I couldn’t log in at all — the app displayed an error message and wouldn’t let me access my account. On Wednesday, I could finally sign in, but was met with another notice: “Technical issue – certain payment features are temporarily limited.” My account balance then showed R0, even though money was supposed to be in the account.
I’ve called and emailed multiple times, but all I get is “we’ve logged a ticket; the technical team will get back to you.” No updates, no timeline, and no access to my funds.
For a bank that markets itself as fast and supportive for small businesses, this is unacceptable. When your system fails, communicate properly -
don’t leave your clients stranded and unable to pay their staff and service providers.
