Me and my partner spent the day with Rafa yesterday, my partner doing his Basic Diver intro and me doing a refresher. Rafa was lovely and puts so much effort into making sure you really understand the theory and are comfortable with all the skills in the pool before going into the sea. We had two lovely dives and saw some beautiful sea life! Rafa also took some pictures and videos for us so we could keep the memories! We will definitely be back when we next come to Lanzarote!!
Wow, wow, wow!
Amazing diving with Rafa last week; completed 10 dives, which started off relatively easy, progressing to 40m with a challenging cave dive and whizzing about on underwater scooters!
We started to plan the trip a few months ago over email, and on my arrival, spent time with both Rafa and Clara adjusting the trip to account for wanting to try a twinset (I’ve started diving on sidemount at home but never tried twinset, so this was a great experience, especially as Rafa got me involved and guided me through reconfiguring regs for this setup). As I’d not used this setup before, we spent time beforehand doing a weight and trim check in the hotel pool before going out to sea.
Both Rafa and Clara are extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful, putting a plan together that enabled me to have fun, whilst also starting to feel more comfortable with a technical set up and challenging me. Between dives, Rafa took the time to go through gradient factors, decompression planning & theory and gas planning, which was amazing as I’m still trying to get my head around that!
It was the first time I’d tried underwater scooters, which was very cool – we managed to cover so much distance, especially on a couple of trips where there was strong current…it was funny watching other divers finning like crazy to get anywhere while we whizzed about with ease!
I’m already thinking about my next trip, and want to progress with my training beforehand (specifically advanced decompression planning, which I’m aiming to get on to ASAP), as even with all the dives Rafa took me on, I know there’s a lot more to explore on my next visit!

Had a great dive experience with Rafa. Started off in the dive center with some theory and the on to the pool. He was calm and relaxed. Then on to the dive in the sea. Great experience and good service.
Just completed 6 great boat dives with Rafa at Liquid Planet. Went out from Playa Blanca twice and Puerto del Carmen once. Very good equipment available and wonderful variety of dive sites to explore. Angel sharks, sting rays, butterfly rays, octopus as well as beautiful shrimps and nuddies. Also included a bonus twin dive with an underwater scooter. Overall excellent diving experiences with Rafa
Had a great time diving with Rafa! He was very accommodating with our availability, the weather and the equipment. Very friendly and experienced, we had a wonderful day. We did two dives on the same day, one at the museum and one on a reef. I recommend this diving center 100% !

Rafa is an excellent teacher. I was totally relaxed during the training and in the open water diving. He's could and very calm. I'd highly recommend this diving company.
Just finished my second dive trip with Liquid Planet. Lanzarote has a huge range of dive sites to suit all levels of diver. Rafa is both a knowledgable and passionate instructor and guide. Liquid planet is able to offer excellent diving and service with a personal touch, all to often missing at the larger dive centres. Thoroughly recommended.
Spent last week at Secrets and went diving with Rafa for 2 days. Really enjoyed it. He is a very experienced Instructor with a lot of knowledge to share. I've done nearly 500 dives and he is one of the best guide/instructors I've dived with. Very client centred, flexible and wants you to feel you are appreciated. I would definitely recommend Liquid Planet to my friends.

100% recomendable. Íñigo, Clara y Rafa son super majos y muy atentos. El centro de buceo está dentro del hotel Secret Lanzarote. Tienen una estación de carga ideal para buceadores técnicos, puedes alquilar bibotellas, etapas, dpv, cargar trimix nitrox...
Excellent diving in Lanzarote
Liquid planet treated us to two excellent dives off Southern Lanzarote. We saw everything we were hoping to see e.g. Angel Shark, Butterfly Ray, Octopus and huge diverse shoals of fishes. The staff were extremely lovely and helpful and ensured all the kit we hired fit well etc. I just wish we had time to do more dives. Next time!

We booked our Discovery 360 session from Secrets Hotel in Lanzarote and had such an amazing experience with Rafa. The booking process via WhatsApp was smooth and Rafa explained the equipment and physics of diving brilliantly, putting my partner at ease before we had even jumped in to the pool. The pool session was a great introduction to the sensation of staying in trim underwater and it gave us the confidence to take on the sea dive. Rafa took his time with the safety/equipment checks before we got started. The sea dive was an incredible experience and Rafa made us feel at ease and we both felt in capable hands throughout. There was some amazing marine life and we witnessed barracuda feeding time! The whole experience was topped off with a great video clip to remember our experience with ! Thanks to the whole team, we wouldn't hesitate to book again when next in Lanzarote!

We did two dives with Rafa in Lanzarote and had a great time! He’s super friendly, calm, and really knows his stuff. The dives were beautiful — clear water, loads of marine life, and a really relaxed vibe. Rafa made everything easy and fun from start to finish. Excelente centro de buceo en Lanzarote. He hecho un doble bautismo con Rafa, un auténtico profesional, de lo mejor que he conocido en el mundo del buceo. Sus explicaciones claras, su cercanía y su pasión hacen que la parte teórica sea amena y muy entretenida.
