Update to my last review. Another HVAC company came out within an hour, added gas to the unit, and it's up and running just fine. They didn't find any issues with the capacitor that Kelly claimed to be the issue from our previous review.

Please let me tell you about Kelly air. If you are thinking about using them, thing again!! My home is 6 years old. Ill admit besides changing the filter regularly. I neglected Annual service. I called Kelly about 2 weeks ago to get our unit serviced. They told me I needed to sign a contract for twice a year service for $200. I did that and scheduled an appointment. Well, the tech showed up, I wasn't home. The tech, who I wont name told my wife he was condemning my unit. He said it was full of mold and unhealthy to stay there. He scared the hell out of my wife. He told my wife he could replace the unit for $9,000 to 10,000. The tech said he could put the new one in 2 or 3 days later. He asked my wife for a $1000 deposit. My wife gave him a credit card. My wife called me on the phone and explained the situation. I even talked to the tech on the phone briefly. As I was driving home I starting thinking this was crazy. I called the tech and told him I was getting a 2nd opinion. I immediately stopped the $1000 deposit. I had a very reputable company come in to analyze my unit. He said it was dirty but not that bad. He said he would clean everything and install a UV light for about $900 and we will be good to go.
I called Kelly to get a refund on my maintenance contract. I was looking to get back 50% being they were only there once. Kelly told me its against there policy to give a refund. I called 3 or 4 times, even talking to a manager. NO REFUNDS.
Believe me Kelly's techs are sales people with a tool belt. Mine was anyway.

We purchased a house in Cape Coral recently and Kelly Air had done the install of the HVAC systems when the house was built. (7 years ago) Decided to stick with them for routine service since they handled the install....and this didn't go well.
The technician for the original routine maintenance was courteous however our main system wouldn't blow cold air the very first time I tried to run it post having the service done. (48 hours later).
That said I called in for service and another tech is sent out and informes me that I needed a compressor. Of course just having had the unit serviced two days prior, and it checked out fine, it didn't sit well that I'm now being told a compressor is needed just 48 hours later. At first this second technician tells me there won't be a charge for the repair and he heads back to the shop to get the part.
The service manager then calls me to discuss and he doesn't understand my side of things in that it seems awfully strange that the unit wouldn't work the first time I tried to run in post service. He then just starts talking over me and has no interest in what I have to say despite the fact that he called me asking for my opinion.
The service manager then tells me that they are not going to do the repair free of charge (as the technician originally told me) but rather he is going to charge me if his tech comes back with the part. I'm obviously frustrated so now the service manager tells me that is is not going to send the technician back out but rather I should find another HVAC company to work with.
I asked him to have the owner call me and his response is "the owner is not going to call you"....and he hangs up on me.
- They house has three units and all of the experience above was for the main floor unit that checked out fine at time of service. Kelly Air did give me a quote for $8,700 to replace a second upstairs unit that currently works just fine but the original service tech said it appears to be leaking freon. The service manager said that since this upstairs unit was out of warranty I'm better off just buying a new unit as opposed to trying to fix any existing issues. I'm not saying the unit doesn't need repair (I'm not a trained HVAC guys so how do I know) even though it's blowing cold just fine right now. So why not at least give me a quote for potential repairs...and I can then make the determination of where to go from there. Just felt like they were pushing a big ticket purchase.
- When I purchased this house the neighbors had warned me of past issues the previous owner had with Kelly Air so apparently this has been a pattern (at least at this home)
I'm not a big fan of writing bad reviews but when a unit won't work the very first time I try to use it post service, the service manager has no desire in making the customer happy, tells me the owner isn't going to call and hangs up on me.....I feel compelled to at least state my experience for others to consider.

First and foremost I would like to thank you for expressing your concerns as we take these serious. I looked over your account and based on your maintenance it looked as if everything was good . Things like capacitors do happen to go out at any given time and its beyond our control . We did offer to go ahead and change out the capacitor but based on the temperament of the moment it was best that we parted ways to diffuse the situation As you can see from previous reviews we are not selling company we are a company that cares about our customers . We apologize if we didnt exceed your expectations. But in order to continue to be a striving company we are required to collect payments on repairs .

Tech was polite, informative and explained everything. Suggested we should replace a part and showed us the difference between the old one and new one. No pressure it was up to us whether we replaced it. Great job, very nice repairman.

I had a maintenance contract with Kelly Air. The water drain pipe leading outside had a clog. The service man came and blew compressed air thru the pvc line, it took him about 20 minutes from start to finish, cost $ 320.00! I canceled my contract with them and got a contract with Boxersox Air Conditioning and Heating.

First and foremost I’d like to thank the young lady in the office I believe her name was Brittany I am leaving to go back home and had a time restraint and she made it happen for me no issues even joked with me for a sec which is rare people are so pushy these days. The tech that came out Nicholas was great as well. Please give both of them a raise as it’s hard to get great customer service these days and both exceeded my expectations.

I bought my house in 2022 and this company is the one that had installed the AC unit so I have a 10 yr manufacturing warranty on the unit
I had an issue with the unit and called them we made an appointment for them to come out after 4pm because we work and bombé at home the guy that came out was there at 2 pm and my husband spoke to him through the ring camera and said we specifically told the office after 4 pm so he left and came back around 6 pm
He proceeds to check the unit and comes back and tells me is the capacitor that went out and needs to be replaced i said ok i have a warranty for parts without even checking any paper work he said that is not covered under warranty and that i needed to pay for the part and labor so he tells me the price is $310 I agreed to pay because i need the Ac and asked for a detailed invoice a break down of what i am paying for he tells me i need to call the office so i called this morning and spoke to someone at the office and i was told by her once again that part is not covered dude to it being electrical and sends me an invoice that does not show a break down of what I paid for so i called again and spoke to a different girl and she said ok let me send to you and send la me a offer ent invoice but it only says flat rate for labor materials etc then I emailed and said it doesn’t answer my question and the invoice is not detailed so I had the general manager called me and says the part is covered under warranty so the invoice I paid for was for part labor and diagnostic call but since there is no detailed invoice there is no way to know how much I paid per each service and he just apologized and said he will address it with his employees I was not offered a refund for the part I paid for or even a price of what I paid for see pictures of invoice
