Super lokatie nabij Kruger, een absolute aanrader!
☺ Super super super!!! Wat een mooie lokatie. Direct aan de rivier met aan overkant het Kruger Park, waar je het wild ziet lopen. Wij hadden het geluk om een kudde van 13 olifanten te zien, die daarna de rivier overstaken om net voor de lodge te gaan drinken. Ook waren er vele nijlpaarden, die je hoorde.
Het huis (Kambaku main) was groot (2 slaapkamers, 3 badkamers), een living en grote keuken. Buiten veranda met zit en eetgedeelte. Prive zwembad met ligbedden.
Herten (Nyala) lopen vrij rond in de lodge.
Ochtend Safari vanuit Lodge met Elvis, ontbijt pakket kreeg je mee. Met een app kon je verder alles bestellen, van drankjes, koffie, lunch, etc.
In de keuken was een koffiezetapparaat met vrij gebruikt van koffie, suiker/melk en koekjes en Ook een waterkoeler.
Om 6 uur de vuurkorf aangestoken en wordt de tafel netjes gedekt onder veranda. Om 7 uur horen we de trommels, wat betekent dat het diner wordt geserveerd . Eten is van top kwaliteit!

☺ Kambaku River Lodge was pure magic. The views over the river, the wildlife right at our doorstep, and the peaceful atmosphere made our stay unforgettable. The rooms were beautiful, spotless, and so comfortable — every detail felt thoughtful.
But what truly stood out was the warmth of the hosts and staff. They went above and beyond in every way, and even surprised us with a special anniversary gift, which meant so much to us. It made the experience feel personal and incredibly memorable.

☺Unser Aufenthalt im Kambaku River Lodge war rundum hervorragend. Das Zimmer war sehr schön gestaltet, äußerst komfortabel und bot eine wunderbare Atmosphäre zum Entspannen. Auch das Essen – sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen – war ausgesprochen lecker und abwechslungsreich.
Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Safari-Tour mit Elvis. Dank seinem geschulten Blick konnten wir unglaublich viele Tiere entdecken, die wir allein sicher übersehen hätten.
Insgesamt war es ein sehr angenehmer und unvergesslicher Aufenthalt. Wir können die Lodge und insbesondere die Safari Tour wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Un endroit exceptionnel.
☺Le lieu est incroyable, notre bungalow a une vue directe sur la crocodile river, où viennent éléphants, buffles , crocod, hippos… c’est juste magnifique.
Les chambres sont très confortables, repas servis sur la terrasse de la chambre, sont tes bons. Le personnel est incroyablement sympathique et bienveillant. Nous avons adoré cet endroit si paisible et calme.

Von unseren Unterkünften in Südafrika war die Kambaku River Lodge die Schönste… vorallem wer die Ruhe sucht.
☺Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, wir hatten vor unserer lodge direkt einen Pool mit blick auf den River. Die Zimmer sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause, so gemütlich.
Kulinarisch fehlte es auch an gar nichts, das Abendessen war aussergewöhnlich lecker.
Wir haben auch eine Safari Tour gemacht, und konnten mit unserem Guide Elvis viele Tiere sehen.
Wir sind so happy und kommen sehr gerne zurück zu diesem wunderschönen Ort!

Kambaku is a lovely place. Luxury and tranquility right next to the Kruger park. From the lush lawns and well positioned viewing decks one can relax and view the animals which come to drink.
The staff are friendly and attentive.
We also did a safari drive with Elvis. He is very knowledgeable and does his best to find good viewing. We were very fortunate and saw an amazing range of animals.

We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf! Het zijn prachtige kamers met uitzicht op de krokodillenrivier en het Kruger park zelf. We hebben vanuit het hotel verschillende dieren gespot die kwamen drinken bij het water.

Hidden gem!
☺ Simply Wow! Everything was amazing! Food was great, Staff was perfect! We got to see animals everyday during different times coming to drink some water! It was lovely! Lodge was beautiful clean and very comfortable! Absolutely perfect, location is perfect! I honestly have nothing to complain. Only compliments! The place is absolutely incredible and very refreshing!

☺ Firstly, the view from the room was lovely, the view from the premises perfect! It felt like a natural extension to the Kruger park. The room was great with a lots of attention to the details. The breakfast was great, as was the delicious dinners! We just loved everything about this quiet and peaceful hideaway. Lots of privacy, immediate answers to your requests and friendly and efficient staff.

A beautiful, well managed property with lovely river views and a firepit for each room.
☺ Location was very good, about 12 miles from one of the main gates into Kruger National Park (easy to self drive from here and roads - in the park- suitable and easy for saloon car....lots to see, elephants and giraffes near entrance ) At Kambaku Lodge a beautiful meal was served to us every night on the terrace outside our room with a firepit lit for us each day. Service was excellent.The gardens were big and ran down to the river where we could see the occasional hippo or elephant in the distance. We would definitely recommend.
☹ It might have been good to offer a choice of meal at dinner. We loved the food however, couldnt fault it, very tasty.
