The itinerary is good. The guide is excellent with quite good English and knowledge about the country, people and culture of different areas in Pakistan. The car is also in good condition with a very nice driver. We enjoyed the food very much, both local food and others.

As a solo female traveler in the 1st time to Pakistan, I was very meticulous when looking for a credible tour operator. And I’m so glad that I chose Hunza Explorers & joining their mixed group tour. The tour was vevy well scheduled that we could enjoy the attractions & had time to interact with kind-hearted local people without being rushed. Zahid, our guide & Khasif, the driver were super nice, helpful & attentive to each guest’s needs. Will definitely come back to Hunza with my family and go with Hunza Explorers again!

Fantastic trip - five stars
My tour to Skardu - Hunza - Khunjerab Pass - Gilgit - Fairy Meadows and down to Islamabad with Hunza Explorers was absolutely fantastic! Great itinerary, transport was well organized, and both Irfan and Ehsan were phenomenal guides. I would do the exact same trip again in a heartbeat - I've travelled to many places and Northern Pakistan is definitely a highlight.

a different experience
It was very different experience s for us. The landscape, people and food were very different. The people of northern Pakistan were very kind, genuine and friendly. Karim organized the private tour for us, and the 2 week tour was an eye opening experience . There were countless interruptions of electricities, internet connections. The rod conditions were totally unpredictable. One should be careful with raw vegetables. We both developed diarrhea for which we took cipro. ( all these made us realize how lucky we are in Korea. ) Snow capped mountains and glaciers were impressive. Karim even invited us to his family lunch, which I enjoyed a lot. Riaz, the guide and Ikbar , the driver were very nice and helpful. If you decide to take a private tour in Pakistan, I recommend Hunza explorers.

Patundas trek tour.
The Patundas Trek was an amazing adventure. The scenery was spectacular, crossing the glacier was exhilirating and thankyou to our brilliant porters and guides for getting us across! The villages that we visited were in full blossom so looked beautiful and pristine. Our guide also took us to his family house which was a great experience. The jeep ride upto the fairy meadows was memorable and certainly not for the faint hearted! The KKH is also an experience and just added to the whole amazing adventure that we had. We had a great time and would certainly go back to the Hunza valley in a different season and use Hunza Explorer's.

Fabulous Hunza
I just came back from a 10-day trip to Hunza (including a first day in Lahore) with Hunza Explorers & it was simply a fabulous excursion, one of my all-time favorite travel experiences. I was with a group of 7 others & Hunza Explorers ran the tour so efficiently, maximizing both the enjoyment & learning experience of the group, thanks to our excellent guide Riaz Ahmed Amir (Rio) who handled us with combined humor & firmness. Both our hotels, Eagle’s Nest in Hunza & Villa Arya in Upper Hunza, were wonderful, with terrific views & comfortable rooms (bed heaters in Villa Arya!), & there were just the right amount of short hikes, the best to Passu Glacier. And that amazing drive up to Khunjerab Pass! The only negative was the cancellation of our flight to Gilgit which forced us to travel KKH both ways, very tiring, but that was not the company’s fault. I already miss Hunza & Dream of returning one day!

An amazing tour of North Pakistan
This was our second tour with Hunza Explorers . Last year we visited the Hunza Valley and enjoyed it so much we decided to return and see more of north Pakistan. On our first day we visited the Khewra Salt mines and Rohtas Fort, both fascinating places. The next day we were supposed to fly to Skardu but the flight was cancelled so we set off to drive , which took 2 days rather than 1 hour. However, it’s an amazing drive, the scenery is fantastic and we were happy to arrive in Shigar and stay at the Serena Fort hotel. After seeing the sights of Shigar we spent the next night at the Kapalu Fort hotel, another lovely place. Then to Gilgit and the next day a long and difficult drive to Mastuj. We were lucky that we were allowed into the Kallash valley as it had been closed to tourists for security reasons. We stayed at the charming Alexander Post hotel for 2 nights so had plenty of time to explore this amazing valley and meet local people. Here women wear colourful costumes and are very much out and about. Then onto Swat and another Serena hotel from where we visited Buddhist archeological sites. On to Peshawar, via Takht- I- Bahi, anther Buddhist site. Due to the security situation we had an armed guard to see the sights of Peshawar, the excellent museum, Mohabbat mosque and the Qissa Khwani bazaar. However, we felt perfectly safe and everyone was very friendly. We drove to Islamabad and had a quick view of Attock Fort , unfortunately closed to tourists. We flew home early the next day. It had been a marvellous 12 days and Hunza Explorers quickly adapted our itinerary after our set back with the flight. We missed seeing a couple of sights due to the time constraints which gives us a very good excuse to return next year. We can’t wait !

Hunza is Amazing
This is second time utilizing the services of Hunza Explorers (the first was a K-2 Trek). Karim was amazing and found a way to accomodate my journey. One hour flight from Islamabad to Gilgit. My guide turned out to be Aziz who was on the Baltoro trip. Off we went - the first two nights were at Eagle's Nest overlooking Karimbad in the Hunza Valley. All I can say is : Wow! The colors are just beginning to change and today is crytal clear. Rather than wait till trip end....I can highly recommend a trip to Hunza with Hunza Explorers.
