My experience during my visit at the Last week of January of 2025
Transportation : they use a 3rd party called “ Plus “. They were half an hour late for the pick up at the airport and another 10’minutes late from the hotel to the airport. Nothing special about this so called “luxury van” it’s just an ordinary van with ceiling lights that glow. My Lexus feels more luxury and comfortable.
Hotel : it’s not a 5 star . Their Marriott website mentions “ room service “ which they don’t have. Their breakfast is a poor. It’s just sausage and bread. Their air conditioner/ heater doesn’t work. 5 star hotels are JW Marriot , Ritz Carlton , St Regis. This is not 5 star. I’ve had someone sent to my room to look and the front desk was notified in person , but nothing was fixed . Stay away from room 610, and the building is really old so you can hear people walking upstairs , flushing toilet , and showering.
Surgery / wash : loud music throughout the process and their techs are consistently singing, and laughing. Doctor only comes in once to perform the holes, and does not do the implant himself.It’s the two girls that perform the numb shots, extracting and implants .
Gives a short break with cafeteria food. The day after , I came in for the wash. Antonia sprays foam on your head in the lobby. Their technician then washes your hair. During that time , she made one of my grafts bleed and Dr Murat put on a cream. I am so sick & tired of them saying “ send us pictures”. Like that’s going to change anything . Why don’t you say something like let’s see how we can fix this and that …

It was average. It appears I’ll still need to get a touch up near my residence as his assistants couldn’t complete the graft fully.
Let’s just be real. If you’re not in Europe or anywhere else near by. Once you check out and get in the cab. You’re pretty much on your own. No real way of “ follow up “ I came from North America. It’s not like they’re gonna say “ we’ll cover your flight ! “ Disappointed mostly that the Doctor didn’t say how many grafts I’ll be getting until I asked , and he didn’t perform the surgery just the
Holes with his tools.”The two girls did EVERYTHING not the doctor. The good part : Aqib was consistent on the messenger app which made me feel at ease & the clinic is in the same building as your hotel. No need to go outside in the cold. Make sure to get food

I was very nervous about flying across the world to come and get a hair transplants in Turkey but the price difference from the USA was the biggest initiative to book the trip. I looked up several clinics in Turkey but the one that caught my attention was… Hair in Istanbul. From the Doctors to all the nurses and the 2 wonderful receptionist Eda and Antonia, they were beyond helpful and accommodating. Also, they both spoke perfect English. It is a tiny fraction of the price of a hair transplant in the states and you’ll get a full hair transplant, can’t beat that anywhere else. They also do the latest hair transplantation technique involving the pens. The service was top notch. The only painful part was the numbing stage which lasted only 10 mins, after that you don’t feel a thing. Hair in Istanbul was a great experience. Very knowledge and nice staff. The doctor was amazing and averted all the questions I had. They set up my ride from the airport to the hotel and would meet me at the hotel to take me to the clinic, and then back to the hotel after. They even set up my ride back to the airport for my return flight. The entire experience was stress free and painless. I would recommend hair in Istanbul to anyone. I’ll definitely be back to do the second portion of my head.

My Experience at Hair in Istanbul clinic was great from the start. I had two friends who already been here and I saw their results which helped a lot to make the decision. Dr. Murat is very professional and take proud in his work. In our consultation meeting before the operation he explained everything in detail. I didn’t feel rushed. Osman( the guy who I initially got in contact with) was super helpful all the way to Istanbul explaining everything about logistics and how it’s going to be. The accommodation was very nice and cozy. Felt like a home away from home. I would like to take a minute to talk about EDA. She is a translator and helps with Consultation process. She is an amazing human being as I had no trouble understanding what was being instructed and kept checking during the transplant how I was feeling or need anything so the transplant can be done ease and comfort.
