With 2 bathrooms done I am very pleased with the results. Drywall, flooring, shower, vanity. Basically tore down entire bathroom including the ceiling. The crew was awesome, great bunch of guys. Worked hard and sometimes on weekends when the schedule was starting to slip. Well done everyone. Honestly the hardest part was choosing the right materials, shower & vanity from Rona. It all came together and the missus is very happy.

We do NOT recommend Global Interiors In Calgary, one of Rona’s key contractors for bathrooms is Global Interiors formerly of Winnipeg. We gave them an 8.5’x5’ completely unfinished space to install a basement bathroom. The $24k project was supposed to take 2 weeks but it actually took 12 weeks to finish because the initial team of installers completely botched the job. Despite our very clear specifications before and during construction, Global under the direction of co-owner Vitaly, completely failed to install any sound dampening in the walls and ceiling. Additionally, installed floor tiles were uneven and had to be replaced, the shower curb and the shower niche sloped the wrong way, the new vanity had to be removed in order to correct a bulge in the wall, painting was left unfinished and more, before they completely disappeared after 3 weeks. If we had relied on Global to fix and finish the job, we are sure that it would have wound up in small claims Court but fortunately we went with Rona specifically because of their Warranty/Guarantee. Here, we provided Rona with a 4page summary of the many defects and deficiencies which led to their intervention and assumption of the role of General Contractor. In the end, Rona gets high marks for its focus on making it right and they fixed and finished everything except for installing sound dampening in the ceiling. Would we have done it again? Probably not. Would we recommend Global Interiors? Definitely NOT.

I had luxury vinyl plank installed in my home. Unfortunately my subfloor was very uneven but Vitaly and his team took care of it and did an absolutely fantastic job. My new floors look amazing and no squeaks and creaks like it was before the install. Thanks so much Global Interiors and I will definitely use you again! 5 stars for sure!

This morning at 9am , Genady arrived for the installation of a vanity in my powder room and two shower doors for the bathrooms. I found him to be efficient and very clean. He installed all three items and worked all day to make sure it was complete. He was done at 2:30 after a long day. I would have him back if and when I need more done.
