Lovely farm, Amber, Richard & Tamara couldn't have been more welcoming. Kids got to feed the lambs everyday & we had their wood fired pizzas which were lush! We stayed in one of the safari tent which had everything you needed. The little added extras such as blankets at the bottom of the bed, lush quilts & hot water bottles made it even more special ❤️ Thank you. Love love The Kittos

Such a wonderful place to stay. Peaceful, clean, organised and with the most helpful and welcoming hosts. The lamb feeding and chicken coup was a highlight for our family. We also went on a beautiful walk and the pizza's were fab. We all felt so relaxed.

We stayed in the Staddlestone Barn after our wedding at Kimbridge. It was very peaceful and private. A great size for 2 people and an option for a lovely breakfast hamper 100% recommend that. Just note if it's rainy like our stay the path to the car is a bit slippy.

What an amazing place to stay Gambledown Farm is!! I have just hosted a Christmas Craft Retreat there, hiring all 3 accommodation barns and I could not have been more impressed with the quality of the accommodation. Amber and Tamara went to amazing lengths to ensure that our stay was perfect - even adding Christmas decorations to the barns which looked just perfect. Every room and area has been thoughtfully designed, with every detail thought through. From storage cubby areas in the bathrooms to hot water bottles on the beds, everything was perfect. Gambledown Farm has been our NCT group's annual glamping destination for over seven years, and it never disappoints. Tamara and her team consistently go above and beyond to make our stays special and ensure we're well looked after. It's a joy to see our children grow up here, knowing they can safely explore the fields and farm with a sense of freedom. We've created truly magical memories at Gambledown Farm and look forward to many more years of unforgettable stays

Absolutely loved our stay at Gambledown Farm Safari tents. Every little detail had been thought of, from hot water bottles, frozen hot water bottles, powerful lanterns...everything! Lovely walks from the farm and just a short drive away from Romsey which had all essentials, supermarkets as well as great coffee shops and bakeries. We would all highly recommend staying here and we will certainly be back again - we didn't want to leave!

This is my second year running a retreat at Gambledown Farm. From beginning to end Tamara and Amber made it the most welcoming and enjoyable experience from start to finish. Their hospitality made it feel like going home again this year. All of my attendees love the farm and have already requested their places for next year’s event. So amazing!

Highly recommended. Perfectly equipped safari tent. Good location to explore new forest, Wiltshire etc. Lovely and safe for children. Some classy touches like pizzas, honesty shop, stuff for kids to play with in barn, lanterns, Will be back.

Wonderful little staycation, heaven for little kids and very much a luxury glamping experience

Very well set up - very safe for children as no cars allowed onto field itself - don't worry wheelbarrows provided to move luggage. The site was very peaceful except the noisy cow on the first night which provided great amusement. She had been removed by our second night!!! Huge coolbox with frozen water bottles provided so easy to keep things chilled. Great shower and very well laid out and supplied kitchen area. Lovely decking to sit out on and huge fire pit to toast marshmallows . They seem to have thought of everything. We did not use any of the food options as we decided to BBQ every night so cannot comment on those. Good sized kettle BBQ and utensils provided. The 4 and 2 year old just loved it including their bedroom "in the air" and being able to wander around the field. Looking after Henny Penny the chicken was a huge bonus especially when we got back from Paulton's Park to discover she had laid an egg!! So pleased we chose Gambledown over a hotel - it really made the break. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We had a wonderful time at Gambledown Farm. A perfect place for young families. A charming and peaceful location. The tent was more comfortable than I could have imagined. The family really know what they are doing, everything was thought of. Clean and well equipped. The pizza night was fab and the honesty shop with their own produce included is a brilliant bonus. We will definitely be returning!

Amazing stay in the hay barn lodge for a family of 8 with 3 children. The lodge was bright, spacious and clean. The lodge site was beautiful with a gorgeous field and barn equipped with an honesty shop, table tennis, tractors, games and lambs which was a highlight for my kids to feed every night. Perfect location for visiting nearby paultons park while also making wonderful family memories. Rachel also responded to emails and a problem with locking the door so quickly and sorted the issue within minutes. Impressed with the team behind this unique farm stay.

I hosted a Retreat at Gambledown over NYE, the venue and location is absolutely perfect. It was great to have various rooms to host sessions to keep it fresh and exciting. The barns/bedrooms are all cosy and modern, my guests really enjoyed their stay too. Great communication from Tamara from my initial enquiry until after the retreat had finished. Thank you 😊

Fabulous location and comfortable safari tent to make the perfect place to spend an Autumn summer weekend.

What a fabulous stay we had at Gambledown Farm this weekend. Rachel was super friendly and full of useful information prior to and right up until meeting her in person during check in. She is a real asset to Gambledown! They have thought of everything here, the safari tents are well equipped, clean and spacious. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room for us all. Prior to arriving I was slightly concerned about the size of the "cupboard" bed as it was hard to gauge from the website. But it contains 2 full size single mattresses so is plenty big enough for 2 adults as it the tent for a group of 6. The child size wheelbarrows were an exciting surprise for my little one as were the children's climbing frames and swings. We added a chicken and coop to our booking which was super exciting for the children. They loved taking care of Jenny the Hen during our stay and going to collect the eggs she laid us. The honestly shop is well stocked and the giant cool box with frozen hot water bottles worked better than I could have imagined and kept things cool for our 2 night stay. I note comments in previous reviews about the check out procedures but in my opinion I didn't find them honorous at all, it was basically an ask to tidy after ourselves and put it back as we found it (minus the full clean) which I would expect from any self catering accomodation! Given the size of our party we found this to be great value for money and we hope to bring our wider family back soon.

Would highly recommend Gambledown Farm. Tamara and the team were so accommodating and our barn was perfect - everything we needed as a family with two young children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay there. Safari tents are very specious and contains everything you need. A nice bathroom with hot water, very practical kitchen will all necessary equipment, a wood burner, a sofa, dining table, picnic table outside, barbecue, a separate camp fire place etc. We were able to collect eggs ourselves. Also it was a great experience for kids to feed lambs. I would definitely go there with friends and do not hesitate to recommend anybody. Only thing I could mention is a bit exaggerated before checkout expectations. You are supposed to remove bed sheets, towels and carry them to near honesty shop, wash dishes, clean barbecue and woodburner ashes, carry your bin all the way to the honesty shop to throw into the bin...
