What a fun food tour! We really enjoyed this tour with Eat Walk. Not only was the food delicious but we visited places that weren’t on our radar (and we travel the world in search of delicious food). 10/10 recommend!

Wonderful experience and taste of the town Wonderful walking food tour through Old town into New town with Elsie! Sampled lots of delicacies which were delicious at every stop. Restaurants and staff were also so welcoming and nice we went back to their establishments again.

A Few Kind Words This was one of the best food tours we've ever done. Our guide was excellent! The restaurant selections were spot on. And the history discussions were intriguing. Additionally, we've never been on a food tour where we felt like we'd had a full meal by the end. This was the exception and we were so delighted. Shout out to Under the Stairs, The Outsider, Rabbles, and Whighams for serving deliciousness. If these aren't on your list, they should be. Reservations are recommended for each. If you're in Edinburgh, this is a tour to have on you itinerary!

This Food Tour Sets a High Bar Like everyone else here, we loved having Fran as our guide. She does a fantastic job of entertaining the group with stories, information and advice on Edinburgh. As the description details, you get to visit four locations and we had a range of foods. We started with porridge and blueberries, that came with pressed juice. I liked the juice a bunch :) We then went to my favorite stop, Wighams, which is a very cool space and we were able to try our first haggis. This version was friend, and therefore pretty darn tasty (and I'm sort-of picky). I also don't eat seafood, so I had the sweet potato soup instead of the cullen sink and it was fantastic (fam loved the fish soup too). Next up was Rabble, where we had our first scotch egg, but this version was a little different as well and pretty tasty. Last stop was for tea and cakes and a great way to end the tour. Overall, it was a perfect way to start our vacation in Scotland. We did the morning tour and it really set the tone and a high bar for the rest of our time in Edinburgh. The group was fun and friendly and again, I'm so glad Fran was our guide!

Great way to start your Edinburg trip! Fran was our guide and it was super fun. My family and I did this tour during our first day so it was great to have an overview of the city, major landmarks and tips from Fran on where to find good coffee and swags. Strongly recommended for families :)0

Food tour in Edinburgh This was a wonderful tour that we did with Cameron! He was such a pleasure to spend time with in Edinburgh! The food choices were outstanding and we tried foods we never thought we would taste! The other tourists from CA who joined us were lovely as well! Such an enjoyable tour. Highly recommend!

Excellent We loved our tour. Just the right amount of food (and generously done), drink, history and walking. So well executed and Russell was the perfect guide.

Lots of food! Food was very good, much more food than we anticipated! The equivalent of 2-3 full entrees, so don't plan on being hungry and going out for dinner afterwards. The guide was very good, providing alot of history of the area and architecture. The walking was a little longer than we expected too, but not a real problem. There was good availability of bathrooms which was appreciated. I would recommend.

Best day in Edinburg and one of the best tours ever! Everything about our tour was perfect! To begin, Wag — our guide, was wonderfully nice, extremely knowledgeable, and able to answer the questions we had about the food and Edinburgh. The pace between walking and eating/drinking at the next establishment made for an easy stroll and provided time to learn about the city in between the food and drink. The tour was the favorite thing we did on our trip and it was worth every cent. Sara reached out to us to provide information shortly after booking the tour and we felt we were in good hands from the start. Finally, make sure to try the haggis — you won’t regret it!

Yummy introduction to the city and its food culture Wonderful experience. Well curated selection of restaurants/drinks. Mhairi was just terrific: knowledgeable, funny, and personable. Only criticism is that it had to end!

Loved our Edinburgh food tour with Kristina! We got to taste so many of the traditional Scottish foods that we had been wanting to try—haggis, skink, Scotch egg, etc. These modern takes were delectable, and our tour guide was so friendly and even mapped out tomorrow’s itinerary in the Highlands for us. Would highly recommend!

Exceptional, delicious and unique tour of Edinburgh for foodies and adventurers! From beginning to end, the tour was terrific. Fran was friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and engaging. There were ten members of our group which was the perfect size and made it fun for everyone. The venues were all fantastic and the food and drink five star. We were taken to places we would have never discovered on our own and they were exceptionally accommodating with food preferences/needs. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone whether on a first visit or tenth to Edinburgh. There is something new to learn/taste/discover for everyone.
