Myself and my group of 8 friends stayed here for two nights. Noki was very responsive to messages and checked in with us over the weekend over text and a call (which I did miss). Plenty of parking, we managed to squeeze three cars on the drive. Location was great with it being a 10 min drive to the centre of Chester and 5 mins to Chester Zoo. Our only issue was that the living room was dusty, most noticeable on the dining table and mantle piece, and we found some nails in the rug that must have been dropped as you can tell that the house had recently been decorated to a very good standard. This wouldn’t stop us staying here again though.

We had a great time here, the reason for 4star is the house really smelt of damp, everything else was amazing! Will defiantly be booking through Noki again

This spacious 4 bedroom house is situated in Chester, a walking distance from Upton Golf club and just 7 min by car from Chester zoo. Other than the Chester Castle and the Roman Gardens, there are plenty of attractions and things to do in Chester. We also drove to North Wales from there to Wrexham and Moss Valley, Llandudno and Conwy. We stayed 2 nights at the house that looks exactly as in the Ad, with our very busy daily schedule, we need the rest in a comfortable house. The rooms are quite beautiful and spacious. The ground floor has an on-suit double bed room with plenty of storage space for those who need it. Next to that room is the well fitted kitchen with appliances that seem all to work well. Opposite to it is a dining space with round dining table, then to the dide ia a spacious living room that is fairly comfortable. Under the stairs there is a small space/cloak hangers. Then the stairs take you up to very nice bathroom. Next to it is a large bedroom that contains king size bed and sofa bed. Though this room is beautiful, unfortunately we found rubbish under both the sofa and the king bed. I informed the managers about this and I am disclosing this here as well because we are paying a £35 "cleaning fee" that the cleaners obviously don't deserve. The next room is with one double bed beautiful as well but, unfortunately, this room has a hot water tank (something modern houses don't have anymore). When you use hot water from sink, the water flows from that tank then this talk would refill and so on. This process causes the near tank pipes to vibrate and these sound like a motor engine honestly! The way to achieve quiet is to sto the pipes from vibrating and this is were your kids shoes come in handy otherwise you can't sleep with that sound is on. Next to that room is another really beautiful room with single bed. We found the beds extremely comfortable and once we managed the vibrating noise we enjoyed our nights. We found everything we needed in the house, for extra stuff there is a grocery shop just a minute walk. The neighbourhood is quiet and clean. Though the property managers stare 10 guests, in reality you got couple among yourselves it would be awkward to get in bed with another person. For example, the "En-suit" ground floor room double beds are seperable in to separate single beds, add to this the living room sofa and upstairs sofa bed and the single bed in room 3 that is a space for 5 people so far. There is still one king size bed and one double bed, and assuming you've got 2 couples meaning 4 more people so in total 9 people bearing in mind someone will be using the living room L shaped sofa tha can fit one adult as the short side too small for another person. Anyways, I have generously rayed this property with 4 stars as we were 6 people and enjoyed the space but also raised there remarks about cleaning and noisy pipes. My recommendation from personal experience, if you could find a property that is managed by an individual owner rather than a third party agency, please do as the owner would care more after their property that any hired property managers.

The house was very clean and very beautifully laid out. Had plenty of parking for 2 large cars and each room is exactly as seen in the pictures. Had an wonderful experience and will definitely book again.

Absolutely horrible place. Dust and human hair everywhere, a fould odour as soon as you walk in the house, also when the microwave was used. Human hair on plugs and in kitchen drawers, dirty dishes in the cupboards. Human mucus on the bedcovers. We unfortunately had to stay one night as we had young children that needed to sleep, we left as soon as we could. The dishes needed doing before you could use them. Windows were filthy, so we're the radiators. Outside the drive is not big ebough for 2 cars as advertised, would maybe have fit 2 tiny cars. And a back garden that may have been a bit more inviting if somebody cleaned up the cigarettes ends from the ground or cleaned out the ash tray. Wasn't in the nicest of estates but wasn't far from Chester centre and Chester zoo. Also close to a shop and takeaways.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. The house was wonderfully clean when we arrived. The beds were really comfortable and everything was ready when we arrived. Communication with Chris was great keeping us in touch about check in. The location to Chester was brilliant only 30 mins walk. We also walked to Chester Zoo and the canal. We had a Tesco delivery but there was a handy Tesco one stop on the corner of the road. Also my dad found a little coffee shop in a park which he made good use of. Thank you again Lesley

Very well located for the zoo, Cheshire oaks and blue planet. Tesco just down the road. Large bedrooms with ample room for travel cots. Comfy beds and a kitchen with all the basics. Unfortunately the dishwasher was broken and the dishes in the cupboards weren’t clean (probably due to the dishwasher playing up!) so had to be re washed. We also struggled with temperature control when running a bath for the kids - no cold water from the taps so had to use the shower to cool it down. We also found the back downstairs bedroom quite cold and the radiator wouldn’t come on for the downstairs bathroom. Other than that it was as described, however a non functional dishwasher was frustrating given the price of the accommodation.

A great house, well appointed, clean and roomy. Hosts left a lovely welcome pack for us. Pressure in downstairs shower is not good but manageable.

The house was lovely and clean, in a great location to drive 10mins, catch a bus or walk 45mins into the centre of Chester. The beds were comfortable and the whole family commented on how well they had slept. There was plenty of tea and coffee for us too. Lots of kitchen utensils. One of the double/twin bedrooms is downstairs with a wet room which would be great for someone with poor mobility or struggles with stairs. Just a note, if you’re a light sleeper avoid the front double bedroom as that is where the water tank is for the heating and it makes a lot of noise. Overall a great stay in a great location, we can highly recommend! :)

Good sized house in great location for Chester Zoo, which was our reason for staying in the area. Also close to lots of shops and restaurants which is ideal. There is a Tesco Express at the end of the road so very close by and very handy! The house has three bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs with an en-suite shower room. There is a bathroom with bath and shower upstairs. The living room is a good size and there is a dining table which seats 4 and a kitchen. We didn't go in to the garden as the weather wasn't very good during our stay. We had 4 adults and 3 children staying in the house for the weekend and we were all very comfortable and had plenty of space. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived and there was hand sanitizer available. There was also some toiletries in the bathrooms which was a nice addition. The bathroom downstairs is a wet room and in need of a bit of updating. There is a gas fire in the living room which was helpful to heat the downstairs when we first arrived. Good value for money and would recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area.

Chris’s place does what it says on the tin. Positives great value for money and fantastic location. 10 mins away from the zoo 15 mins away from city center great place to base for a family get away. Areas of improvement. The house was a little dusty. Probably due to space of time between visitors. Could be cleaned more throughly but wasn’t “unclean” if you get my drift. Also the showers were a bit hit and miss. Upstairs the temperature wasn’t consistent which made it difficult to bathe the children and downstairs didn’t have great pressure. All that said we would definitely stay here again.
