Apartment is in a great location for visiting Chester city centre, which is only a short walking distance away. Free parking is a great plus.
Generally, the apartment is pleasant and had a very comfortable bed. It’s let down by multiple stains on the carpet and a fragile looking (and not as seen in photos) sofa/sofa bed. There’s also a vast amount of marks/scratches on the walls.
Despite attempting to turn on the heating, the radiators never seemed to get warm, however wasn’t too much of a problem as the apartment was top floor.
I was slightly apprehensive about noise from the flyover, however this wasn’t an issue.
Communication throughout the stay was great and consistent. It was particularly useful that the hosts took a descriptive video of how to enter/where to park, as this might not be obvious upon arrival.

Reservation cancelled without informing guests. Only found out through ringing up and chasing myself about check in instructions the day before.
Minimal effort at apologies
Agreed to refund but disengaged in process of making this happen, all communication ceased.
Had to independently contact airb&b to facilitate cancellation of booking from host end to therefore action a refund.
Wouldn’t recommend letting company

Chris's places was such a great decision. My friends and I felt immediately at home. Though shops and things tend to close earlier than we were use to, it was always lively to come back and chill together at Chris's place and order in in the evening. Locals seemed friendly and even helped us locate the rare end of the property our first day there. Definitely would come again!

This is a very good location, ideally placed for exploring all parts of Chester and North Wales. The apartment exceeded our expectations and we had a very Happy Christmas there, including cooking the dinner! The apartment was well equipped and comfortable, meeting all our requirements. The host was very good at answering my numerous questions about location and facilities making for a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would return myself.
