Not told beforehand that would be charged £144.00 for attending. Engineer called on his way home for literally five minutes and doing no work before leaving. When I questioned this I was quoted terms & conditions with not a smidgeon of empathy. Very disappointed.

I’ve had a look into your booking and I appreciate that it wasn’t made clear that it would be chargeable due to our bookings being a minimum of one hour. We thought we were helping you by arranging for an engineer to visit you as his last job of the day, due to the fact that your boiler was leaking in the week before Christmas. I’m sorry we haven’t left you completely satisfied on this occasion and have just sent you a full refund.

The house had an issue with the downstairs heating on New Years Eve and the director (Winston) came out himself to fix it. Another engineer had misdiagnosed our issue so Winston spent an extra couple hours than expected to fix our issue. He said he actually quite enjoyed doing it as he doesn’t get to be as hands on anymore. He even installed a new valve that would make repairing the heating easier and quicker if anything went wrong in the future. Would definitely recommend!
I have never before come across such a hard-working, knowledgeable and effective central heating engineer as Ellis. He corrected problems that had defeated other engineers and worked into the evening to make sure that everything was working correctly. Avenue Heating can be relied on to provide a prompt and well-informed response and their work is competitively priced. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any central heating work and can recommend them without reservation.
Fantastic experience with Avenue Heating. Boiler pump went pop just as winter had started and Donna/ Winston arranged a survey within a day. Both really helpful and some good honest advice. Decided to replace the whole unit, which was carried out by Ellis, who was brilliant. Really pleased I called them. After going through 6 plumbers since moving, I've finally found one that I would not hesitate using again
Our water pressure dropped on Boxing Day. Not ideal. What was ideal was Winston’s attitude and his genuine care to help my family. He was out in a blast. Everything fixed with Christmas cheer and a smile. Winston has a rare combination of knowledge and customer care. We would never use anyone else.
Excellent service from Avenue Heating, and would recommend to anyone without hesitation. Had a boiler issue with no hot water or heating just before Christmas and Chaz came round within an hour of calling and had the problem identified and sorted quickly. Carried out thorough checks and gave good advice on next steps for my 14 year old boiler!

Last week my heating stopped working and I spoke to Donna and got a next day visit booked in with Chas. The heating started up again that afternoon and I cancelled the visit with no charge. Next day the heating again failed to come on and Donna rebooked the original appointment without fuss. Chas came that afternoon and took five minutes to work out that the boiler was working but the heating Zone Valve (an external part to the boiler that turns it on and off) was failing with age. He said he could replace the Zone valve there and then and the first hour labour would be included in the call out charge and all I would pay was for the new part. Twenty minutes later, new part installed, my heating was back on and working. Many thanks.
