Really lovely place, the food was great! All the staff were lovely and Chantelle absolutely made the experience, was on it with everything and was very welcoming. Would definitely visit again if we are in the area.

Fantastic. Walked off the street. Chantel gave the best service. Really professional. All the food was really tasty and Lemon cheesecake mocktail so nice.
This place is so beautiful. Love it for nice date night.

Wow, wow, wow! My mother and I just happened to pop in for dinner whilst in York, and we had such a lovely meal. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff are friendly and the food is delicious. Could not fault any part, I would recommend this to anyone.

Atmosphere and service is impeccable, servers are brilliant and very attentive. The food is good but the chicken burger could’ve been a bit more well seasoned and crisper. But overall very good service

Brilliant visit to Ate O’Clock in York. Food is fantastic! We were celebrating my son’s 12th birthday & one of the waitress’ came out & sang happy birthday to him, brought him a card, and a lovely piece of cake. He was made up & felt very special. Thank you!

Wonderful food, service & staff
Booked here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had a wonderful evening. We were warmly welcomed & given a lovely card by staff which was a lovely touch. Our waitress Chantel was friendly, really helpful with questions we had and very attentive, great service. We had 3 courses and the food across every course was delicious. Thank you for making a special occasion that bit more special, it's appreciated.

Very friendly and attentive staff listened and acted on our request to be seated somewhere quiet. Food was lovely but had to give 4 stars as my chicken was a bit too dry and overcooked but wouldn't stop me from returning in the future, very nice restaurant and hope to return 😊

My husband and I enjoyed the service, food and ambience. It was his birthday and we got a birthday slate as well for free. Aimee served as that evening and she was amazing. Food had good portions and tasted great. Will definitely go back for our anniversary.

What a fabulous find whilst just arrived in York this afternoon. Went for a couple of hours walk and found this beautiful entrance to Ate O’clock! The staff were so accommodating considering we hadn’t booked. The food was excellent and very tasty. We chose 2 set menu - fish & chips with peas and Tartar. Plus chicken Kyiv with cabbage carrots and sliced potatoes. Very tasty. We chose chocolate brownie with ice cream as dessert. Best melt-in-the mouth brownie we’ve ever had. One if us had ginger beer and the other a NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Finished off with Cherry Bakewell cocktail which blew my taste buds into over drive. Whole meal, ambience, service and value were exceptional. Would recommend and will be returning at some stage!

This was our first visit to Ate O'Clock and we loved it. We was greeted on arrival and shown to our seat. The restaurant was very busy but we was served in a timely manner. My husband opted for the confit belly pork which was presented beautifully and it was cooked to perfection. I had the spiced duck breast which again was so tender and cooked perfectly. I had this with a glass of the Five ravens pinot noir which complimented the dish really well. Throughout our meal the staff were friendly and attentive. We both really enjoyed our first visit to Ate O'Clock and will definitely be back.

Best chunky chips ever
Amazing food, lovely wine and great service! Nothing more to be said, oh and the best chunky chips we have ever tasted in our 60 years!! Would travel from Manchester just for those.
