The 2025 Guitars and Ukelele Concert held yesterday by the school was nothing short of spectacular and a true testament to the dedication, talent, and passion fostered within the school.
What stood out most was the incredible diversity of performers and their varying levels of experience. From beginners bravely taking the stage for the very first time to advanced students showcasing their refined techniques, every performance was heartfelt and captivating. It was clear that the instructors have done an outstanding job not only teaching technical skills but also instilling confidence in their students. Each student brought their unique personality to the music, whether it was a gentle acoustic melody or an energetic electric guitar riff. The beginners impressed the crowd with their progress and poise, while the more experienced players left everyone amazed with their precision, expression, and stage presence.
The supportive atmosphere was another highlight of the evening. Families, friends, and fellow students cheered enthusiastically for every performer, creating a warm and encouraging environment that celebrated growth and achievement. The smiles on the kidsā faces as they finished their pieces said it allāthis was a moment of pride they will carry for a long time.

My daughter Ananya has been learning guitar at Alison Glew guitar school for 2 years.
