AJ's fitted bespoke canvas covers on my boat in autumn 2025. The covers are now over six months old. Despite rain, wind, dust and heatwaves, they still look brand new. The quality of materials and the fit are exceptional. AJ's easily accommodated the bespoke features I requested and adapted fittings for ease of use with arthritic fingers. They even added useful features that hadn't occurred to me! Both cratch and pramhood are easy to remove, stow and refit. Boat covers are expensive, whichever company you choose to make them. But AJ's delivered top quality for under £5k, which if you do your research, you'll realise is an incredibly reasonable price for such exceptional quality.

Absolutely over the moon with our new canopy from AJ Boat Canopies . The design features they use so you can see your canopies in 3d prior to installation is fantastic and makes for a perfect , smooth and seamless installation. Top notch service from beginning to end. Great advice regarding coverings , design , materials etc. Also extremely accommodating as we needed a speedy turn around. We would definitely recommend AJ Boat Canopies, extremely professional and wonderful people to work with .

Have just had our replacement cratch cover fitted and are delighted with the quality and fit… so smart! From advice on fabric and lead times by the office, accurate and painstaking measurement by Fraser to fit we were impressed by the care, time, quality and efficiency of the whole team. Particular praise to Fraser who measured and fit and to the (unknown) fabricators for such neat and impeccable standard of workpersonship. If you too want a quality canopy with sturdy zips, beautiful fit and only a few weeks wait you would be pleased with AJ. Thankyou team, we’ve used you before and would do so again.

Our new cratch cover has now been fitted. It is perfect. We wanted inbuilt fly screens which made it slightly complicated , plus windows and flaps to cover them all. A sterling job was done . It fits perfectly, is easy to open, the fly screens are great quality and also allow in light and stop our dogs from escaping, plus allow ventilation and keep out flying insects . Very very happy. Everything rolls up and is kept neatly out of the way if we want it to. Would definitely recommend this company Great care, and good suggestions to get exactly what we wanted . Thank you Kathy and team Photos will be added later . Having used the exits and fly screen over the last few months has been great, easy to use, roll up and zip up . Keeps flying insects out and the dogs in ! An added bonus ! Most definitely recommend this company . 😁

I recently used AJ Canopy to fit a Cratch and Pram cover for my Narrowboat. From the off I found them really friendly, they took their time to prepare using a laser tool to get that perfect fit, and I could see why once fitted Amazing workmanship, really happy with thw quality of the product Then my first trip I got the pram cover caught in my propeller which caused a bit of damage I contacted Kathy, they collected the piece of the cover affected and repaired at a really reasonable price Fully recommend this local family run business I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again

A J fitted our covers ten years ago and they are still ok but we needed new ones after a complete boat repaint in new colours. The colour match was excellent and the new covers fitted like a glove onto the new clips fitted by the boat painter. AJ is an excellent contractor which I would recommend without hesitation

What an amazing business and quality product. The team were extremely helpful from start to finish. They listened, discussed and reacted to my ideas and delivered a first rate product on time and to the right price. Almost a shame that I won’t need to use their services for some time as the quality of the covers (front, read and two skylights on a narrow boat) looks like they’ll last a good long time. 5 stars all the way. 👍

We had a front and rear tonneau for our semi trad fitted by Fraser. Brilliant service from start to completion despite me putting them off a number of times for the measure and then fitting. Very good advice on fittings and I really enjoyed Fraser's old school templating approach rather than 3d modelling - both canopies fit perfectly. I can highly recommend.

I can't praise A J Canopies enough, quick, efficient and professional..process from enquiry to completion was about 2 months..Kathy was kind, quick to respond and professional.
