Our business is new so that it’s quite hard to have the energy contract. However the adviser did well. He helps me a lot. Many thanks ☺️

Wiser Utilities provided exceptional service and advice in negotiating new fixed term energy costs for my company, the Harrogate Masonic Trust Limited. The process was transparent and conducted in a most helpful manner and resulted in a very satisfactory outcome. Wiser Utilities then pursued a claim due to a mistake made on the initial bills from the new supplier which took six months to resolve. Throughout both the initial process and the administration of the claim, the Group Director was always very readily available to advise on the process and progress of matters.
Barry, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
I am very grateful and look forward to supporting you.
Best regards

Excellent professional and friendly service.
Saved me over £1500 on my gas and electricity over the next two years.
Highly recommended
Hi Andrew,
Great review and thanks for placing your confidence in our services!!
I was pleased that our transparent approach to energy procurement was able to identify savings made as a result of rate reductions since you took out your last energy contract, and that those savings were passed directly on to you.
All too often the unscrupulous brokers out there hold back the bulk of any savings as additional commissions for themselves.
We continue to expose unscrupulous and unethical industry practices, through an open, honest, and completely transparent approach.
Best regards
Neil.

Neil , always goes above and beyond for his clients , I have been in business for many years and have not come across a Utility broker that can get anywhere near him for service , professionalism , expertise & transparency , absolutely outstanding , 🤩
Dear Customer,
Many thanks for taking the time to share your review.
As you know, I don't hire sales staff, use GoogleAds, pay for Clicks etc etc. All of my work is gained through word of mouth. As a result I try my upmost to deliver the best service that I can. EVERY CUSTOMER MATTERS!
I established this business to DISRUPT the industry and help businesses navigate the unethical and unscrupulous Utilities industry, so I really do appreciate your feedback, and your custom.
Best regards

Would not recommend.
Dear Ms Rana,
Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately it provided very limited information about your experiance and reason for leaving a comment. However, I am then informed that you are the business partner of Mr Boyd. Therefore, please allow me to share my response to Mr Boyd below.
Dear Mr Boyd,
In mid 2022, you approached me and presented 12 and 24 month quotes to me from other brokers asking me to provide you with competitive comparisons. Having performed an assessment of needs, I was conscious that "cheapest rates" were essential to you, given you were exiting a contract previously signed on much lower rates with a zero standing charge, into an energy crisis.
I presented a 12, 24, and 36 month options, I subsequently removed the 36m option because it was not in your best interest to take a longer term contract at that time.
The 12 and 24m option were more competitive than the 12 and 24 month quotes you had from other brokers.
Of the 12 and 24 month terms I presented, the 24m was most competitive and given that we were in the middle of an energy crisis and the ongoing Ukraine War. I recommended that the 24 month would be most competitive, offer budget certainty through a very tuff period, especially given that rates had been steadily increasing day by day for months, and that the rhetoric and insights from the global energy industry, suppliers, and Government alike was that the high rates were here for the foreseeable future.
I did however explain that with the 24 month you lose flexibility if rates drop. but given the situation AT THAT TIME, you personally decided that the 24m term was best due to the lower rate. I explained that ultimately, you knew what was best for your business and I fully disclosed my commission to you.
Some 3 months later, unexpectedly the energy rates dropped, and you were requesting to get out of your contract because you wanted cheaper rates. I explained that even in a 12 month contract you would not have been able to exit some 3 months into the 12m term. This was also explained and evidenced PRIOR to you taking the contract out. It was at that point you decided that the contract you were initially happy with was no longer fit for purpose, and that I had even "MIS-SOLD" it to you.
You raised your complaint to the Energy Ombudsman Service, I happily cooperated and provided all necessary evidence and statements of fact, and your complaint was NOT UPHELD.
The following findings were provided to you by them.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I am unable to agree that you were coerced or misled into agreeing a 2 year fixed deal and unfortunately unable to honour your request for your contract term to be reduced. The broker presented you with a number of options and whilst I agree that his predictions at the time have later proven to be inaccurate, he did not present them as fact. I feel they were reasonable based on what was happening in the market at the time.
I understand that due to the significant difference in rates compared to your previous contract as well as the addition of a daily standing charge, your bills have increased considerably. However, I cannot agree that Neil King is responsible as this would have been the case had you’d agreed a contract via a broker or sourced a deal independently.
I appreciate this decision may not be the outcome you hoped for. However, the Energy Ombudsman Services who your business partner instructed, fully reviewed all evidence provided regards conversations, messages, and documents from both parties, throughout the renewal process. After review of all evidence the complaint was NOT UPHELD, as I had fully disclosed the TOTAL commission on £127, and that I had not missold, misled, misrepresented, or acted improperly in any way.
I hope this enables us to both move forward, and I note Mr Boyd has just contacted me for billing support, which I have been more than happy to support him to resolve.

Use at your peril. I swore to myself I'd never use another broker for my energy and I only wish I'd listened to my sound advice. This 'energy expert' has put me thousands of pounds out of pocket.

I am saddened that many businesses are facing huge costs, especially for energy. I endeavour to do what's best for all of my clients using my knowledge, supplier and industry data available to me AT THAT TIME.
These were unprecedented times and many customers were trapped between 12m terms being unaffordable and 24m terms coming with a risk that markets can change and catch even the leading industry experts and economists out.
