Lynchburg always does a stellar job. Quick check in, security, and boarding. Courteous security and gate agents. Best airport to fly out of in Virginia. Only downside is only option is American.

Small regional airport but very modern and it has everything you might need, such as rental cars and other transportation. 5 minutes to Liberty University as well as hotels and restaurants. Short lines for everything and no need to walk far to gates.

One of the smallest airports I've ever seen but everything was quick and the staff is friendly. Be prepared there is no food available besides a few vending machines

Quaint municipal airport, certain areas currently under renovation, very convenient to downtown dining and lodging options. Limited snack options via vending machines, so buy snacks at a grocery store before your flight.

I have done a lot of reviews, some glowing, some honestly, truthful but painful. This is that kind of review. Being fair, the airport is just a regional one and it’s under construction so maybe change for the better is coming. The people at American were great. TSA also quite pleasant. It’s there the airport fun stops. Departure lounge doesn’t have men’s restroom. It’s temporarily upstairs. Restaurant? It’s a soda machine and a candy machine. Oh, and a coffee machine. Sad place
