I thought I had left a review but I hadn’t…and I must.
I was having an issue with calve muscles and an overall persistent pain in my left leg. I needed a massage.
Based entirely on the reviews, I wrote (WhatsApp) & asked for a male masseur to focus on my calve muscles.
I set up a massage with only a day’s notice & fortunately, the owner was able to fit me into the busy schedule of their one male masseur.
Spa Spazio is in great demand because it’s centrally located (next to the Cathedral steps), spotless, nicely furnished (albeit small), professional, welcoming & friendly. The gentleman who greeted me turned out to be the owner himself; a sign that it is well-managed.
I was treated by a young (tall) man but sadly forget his name. He was amazing in that after I explained my symptoms & area of concern, he focused on those areas first. After treating the leg and calves, he proceeded with a RELAXING body massage; firm but not hard.
My experience was such that before departing, I requested another appointment but sadly, their one male masseur was fully booked.
I highly recommend Spazio if after your pilgrimage you want either a relaxing massage or one that focuses on a particular area of pain or concern.
Cost: The price set is reasonable; not cheap but, in my opinion, just right for the service provided in such an inviting, relaxed location that also smelled wonderful.
WONDERFUL!!!! Knowledgeable, professional and caring. I felt as though my muscles had been thoroughly examined by a physiotherapist and treated with amazing soothing care. The whole experience was worth every minute & I floated out afterwards.
This time my masseuse was Alexander. Brilliant!
