I engaged this company after being approached via a marketing email while I was looking to employ someone. We usually handle recruitment in-house and have done so successfully for many years, but the pricing seemed fair and the guarantee of an employee within one month encouraged me to proceed.
Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. I had to constantly follow up with the assigned recruitment consultant Lisa for updates on applicants. Although I raised these concerns multiple times and saw slight improvement, there was an overall lack of urgency and communication throughout the process.
Despite spending approximately $3,500, I am still without an employee. The $700 money-back guarantee does not reasonably compensate for the cost or the time lost. Requests for further compensation were not acknowledged, which left me feeling ignored and having to chase responses.
For comparison, I placed my own advertisement yesterday and already have two suitable candidates lined up for interviews next week.
Overall, this experience reinforced that you get what you pay for. In some cases, it’s better to handle recruitment yourself or engage a more established recruitment company.

Dealing with James from the Recruitshop was a great experiance James went above and over what someone would expect to fill the role of a spare parts interpreter, James kept in touch with updates and progress, his dedication to fill the role was excellent.

I worked with Tom at Recruit Shop to locate a quality Client Relationship Manager for our independent financial planning firm. Tom was very professional and friendly to deal with and was able to send us resumes which matched suitable applicants - this saved us time and stress. We have filled this position with an applicant Tom presented and all is going well. This was a much more cost-effective solution then a traditional recruitment service with equal outcomes.

Fab experience with these guys! We had looked into recruitment for our hire and it was going to be extremely expensive, with no guarantee of results. Recruit Shop were very easy to deal with and found us loads of great candidates. We had a hire within a week. Will definitely use again!
