Best Operation on San Pedro By Far!! Every time I dive with these guys they somehow they seem to exceed and outdo my expectations. Living on San Pedro, I have had the opportunity to dive with more than a few operations over the years and by far White Sands is simply the best. I have been a regular customer for a few yers now and every time it's a great experience. The gear is always in perfect condition and well maintained, the pre dive/trip communications are outstanding, they are patient and highly supportive of newbies and arguably the best part and most impactful are the folks that work there are some of the best on the island. Joycelyn and Lucy rock in the office and our last guides, Eric and Chris were simply awesome on the boat and in the water. We'll be requesting them again for sure next time! They always personalize the experience to a super high level and you are guaranteed to get a smile with every interaction. Every question that you have also is sure to have a professional and insightful response as well! Bottom line is book your next excursion here and don't think twice.

Love this team! Thanks for the outstanding dives….again. This is our second visit to Belize for scuba diving with White Sands. Love the crew and office staff. Thanks for all the boat driving Albi, great to meet Sarge, and it was great to see you again Raul!! White sands will pick you up at different piers all up and down Ambergris Caye. Highly recommend them for their expertise, awesome service and knowledge of the reefs and marine life. You are the best!

Great Guide Henry pricing not so forthright. First off the trip and shop were good. Mexico Rocks was fun. The “spot” were you can swim with nurse sharks and stingrays unbelievable. Henry was a great captain and guide. The prices on line however do not include taxes and park entry. So snorkel for 2 went from 110 to 150 usd very quickly. Should I go again with them yes. But just be prepared for the extra. I believe gear is extra too.

They replaced a starter one year ago now I'm needing a new one 😭 been trying for two days to get the receipt for the starter so I can get the warranty. I believe Our shop has blocked me. Last year I disputed the $700+ I paid them for replacing the starter. I just want the receipt. I'm starting to wonder if if was changed last year.

When your car was towed in a year ago it would not start. we installed the starter on 6-5-2024 and the car was able to start. the next day you disputed the card charges clamming the work was never done and it was, the car started to leave and get you home. You called and asked for a copy of the receipt Monday 9-8-2025, we have had no phone or internet until today 9-12-2025. We now have phone and internet back and will gladly send you the receipt.

Loved it so much went back twice! Shout out to White Sands Dive Shop! Loved it so much I went snorkling 2 days in a row. I didn't plan an excursions before I arrived in San Pedro. I came to this group and asked the night before if there was a group going out to Mexico Rocks the next morning and got a message from White Sands they could take us! Mexcio Rocks isn't as popular as the other spots so companies don't go out as frequently. Mexico Rocks was stunning! No one else was out there and there was only one other snorkler on the trip with us. Henry was so patient, kind, and super chill. He made me feel super comfortable and confident about my second time snorkling. He took his time to explain everything . Loved the guided tour; he pointed out so many things I wouldn't of noticed. He checked in with the group many times to ensure everyone felt comfortable. We went out with the same group the second day to Hol Chan which was way more packed. Our guide( can't remember his name) gave us the same hospitable treatment and made it an afternoon to not forgot. He dived down deep to point out different marine life and made sure we all were comfortable numerous times. Very affordable , easy to communicate with and easy to book ! 11/10

Fun and family friendly! We did a combined dive/snorkel trip to Mexico Rocks. My oldest daughter and husband had a nice shallow dive with Lindo. It was her first dive in the ocean so I was glad it was in a shallow location. My youngest daughter was afraid to swim with the fish and our snorkel guide Luis was amazing! He was patient, reassuring, and kind. He held her hand the entire time we were in the water! He pointed out several fish along the route and we got to see two baby turtles! A special thank you to Luis who made our day a success!

I was interested in purchasing a vehicle from a neighboring town and with living an hour north decided to call to see if they would do a pre purchase inspection. He actually had me send the listing of the vehicle I was looking at and by looking at the pictures determined that the car had been in an undisclosed accident. They saved me a trip and money! Best part is they didn’t have to do that - just a good person helping me out. This is the place to take your car if you want to give genuinely nice, honest people business!

Snorkeling in Belize Eric did an absolute amazing job of taking on two different excursions. He made sure to take us to areas where we could see all kinds of marine life from sting rays, sea turtles, nerf sharks and beautiful coral. A great experience for all ages!

Safe, fun, accommodating This dive shop is amazing! We rented a VRBO a few docks down and decided to go with this shop because of great reviews and location.SOOOO glad we did! First, they picked us up on our dock so we didn't have to drive back and forth in our golf cart. As a result, we got back to the house early each day.We dove with Chris for all our dives and he was great. First, he kept track of the whole group, making sure we were good on air and staying together. He easily communicated when the boat was near so anyone low on air could do a safety stop and get to the boat.Second, he and the captains found fun dive locations, including a swim through where we saw a good-sized eel hanging out.Third, the approach to get us in the water and back on the boat was a first for me. All the tanks were in the back of the boat and dressed for us (but still giving us a chance to check before taking off). One by one, we went to the back, put the fins on, and they helped put the BC on us. We got in water one at a time.After the dive, we went back to the boat and the captain helped us out of our BC while still in the water. He pulled up the tanks, we held the ladder and took off our fins, then climbed aboard. While a new approach (both in dressing and getting back to boat), it was nice to not have to climb back on boat with all the equipment still on.I highly recommend this dive shop for your scuba needs!

Amazing Hol Chan snorkeling experience! We did a half day snorkeling tour to Hol Chan and Shark Rey Alley with Henry and it was phenomenal. We saw turtles, rays, sharks and he was really great with my two teenage boys! I would highly recommend them and him as a guide!

I brought my old car in to get the brakes worked on. We had almost no brakes so we decided to try the local shop. I told them that we have two vehicles and this aren't in a hurry to get it back. A guy called me on that Friday afternoon and said they probably wouldn't get it done before the weekend, they had some guys looking to leave a bit early to go racing. I said it was perfectly fine, as I told you guys before it's our extra vehicle. I said go and enjoy your racing. He called me back at like 4:30 saying it was done. They decided they'd work hard to finish it. About a year later I had the same problem. This time I took it to the Ford dealership. I told them I just had this issue about a year ago. When they got done they told me they could tell that whoever worked on it before had only partly done it right. So, Ourshop rushed it through doing a partial job! This was after I already clearly said TWICE that I wasn't in a hurry to get it back!! A brake problem is a very serious deal!! Thank goodness the problem recame back going very slow and coming to a slow stop!

Jason, after looking into it the repairs were made in April of 2019, it is now March of 2025 6 years after the work was performed. Our notes say that we replaced the brake line that goes from the front of the car to the rear, at tat time it was the ONLY brake line that was rusted and leaking. We are in Iowa and to have brake lines rust is VERY common. Especially on a 2003 model year car ( a 16 year old car at the time of repair). So the fact that you had another brake line blow out a year after the repair was made is not surprising. as far as "partly done right" we would have only replaced the line that was rusty and leaking as a money saving option. we could have replaced all of the lines but on that age of a car that would have been a VERY expensive repair. Not to mention if they were not leaking then it would have not been needed.

Best dive company on Ambergris Caye! We spent a couple of days with White Sands Dive Shop. Day one we spent a full day on the family Bbq trip. Reef fishing in the morning was great and caught our lunch, we went snorkeling and Eric got us a conch for ceviche. We went back to the dive shop and ate the best fish and ceviche I found in Belize!!! We then went out again for more snorkeling. They do provide soda, drinks and Rum Punch if you want it. If you’re interested in the rum punch it was very good. We had a great time and Lucy and Eric took great care of us. Jocelyn in the office was so helpful. We loved being out with them. The second day Eric took us for a half day of snorkeling, we saw three sea turtles and so much marine life it was amazing!

Can't wait to return!!! We just got back from the most fabulous two-week dive trip in Ambergris Caye. We picked White Sands Dive Shop primarily because of it's proximity to our resort as well as the excellent reviews they had - and boy are we glad we did! They are an excellent operation with top-notch service! We were so spoiled with the valet service!We are not into the huge cattle-boats with dozens of divers, so being on a smaller boat with anywhere from 2 to 6 divers was ideal. We even had one day of just the two of us on a personal tour! The Captain, Albi, is an absolute pro at how he handled the boat, as well as the extra care he took helping us (me especially with my age and physical limitations) on and off the boat. Our Divemaster, Christian, was amazing! He was very detailed in the dive plans, kept a great eye on things both above and below the water. Then there are the absolutely lovely ladies manning the shop - Jocelyn and Lucy. They were so helpful and just absolute sweethearts! We miss you guys already and can't wait to come back!Karen & Steve Vieira

Awesome 1/2 day fishing with Capt.Louis 1/2 day reef fishing trip with capt. Louis was fantastic. He put us on plenty of fish,gave a a science and history lesson as an extra. Capt Louis was greet with my 10 year old son and explained everything we did. Could not have had a better trip. Will absolutely be back.
