Very comfortable tops!! The material for the Esther Latch tank is cooling and very apt for eczema prone peeps like me. Love that it is reversible too. The Lifehouse studio is a lovely place too!

I thought you cannot be stylish when being mother & breastfeeding. But when i found Hannah dress, it was completely changed my mind. You can still look pretty and breastfeeding in the same time. The material is so good, the design is so pretty, and Gillian is so patient answering all of your question and ensuring you have the best experience while wearing the dress. The Esther tank is my daily comfort from morn and night. The fabric is soft to the touch. I usually wear the round neck front and the square neck to the back because the round side is higher so it’s a modest choice for me but I always appreciate how clever the design is that you can reverse and wear either side to your preference. The square back gives an appearance of a broader back in my opinion, which accentuates the waistline! Even though my kids are older and I don’t breastfeed babies anymore, I still love that the tank is padded so it can worn without a bra underneath. It is a simple but extremely comfortable choice of clothing for a busy mom and that’s why I have it in every colour for every day of the week. Love Olive Basics!

The tops I have from olive basics are one of my favourites in my wardrobe. Soft, beautiful colours, flowy, cooling and comfortable. I love the flattering cutting and also how stretchy the tops and midi skirt are at the same time. I was looking for such designs during my pregnancy and postpartum, and am glad that they are available now through Gillian’s designs! I am looking forward to using them a lot in my next pregnancy. Thank you for making pregnancy and mum life a more dignified, fuss-free, comfortable and celebrated one!

I love their nursing covers and easy latch tank! As a second time mum, I can attest to the breathability and how people can’t see from outside of the nursing cover. It’s my go to and it’s so lightweight. I can also double up to use it as a swaddle! I met the owner at a mummy fair and she was so passionate and kind to explain all about the brand. Definitely pieces every mummy needs.

Purchasing the nursing cardigan before pregnancy and recently used it on baby’s first trip out, and I’m so thankful for the thoughtful design! I no longer have to awkwardly throw the nursing cover over my head while trying to avoid rubbing my make up off, and then struggling to pull it off after nursing. Can’t wait for more functional nursing pieces to be launched!

Gillian also patiently goes through the inspiration behind each piece and the fit for my body shape, which I appreciate it a lot.

I have become a big fan of Olive Basics after my first purchase of the Lydia dress. So much thought has gone into the designs to make functional and flattering clothing for women (not only mummies). The clothes can be worn many ways, are made of high quality materials, and are very comfortable. My order was also shipped super quickly even though Olive Basics was busy during Boutique Fairs. I found out about Olive Basics when they launched their Kickstarter campaign and I honestly wasn't convinced at all. I mean, how good can a nursing tank be right?! Wow, I was proven so wrong when I finally saw them at the mothercare fair and felt the products myself. I was SOLD! I've been buying their products ever since.
Every detail in their clothing is so purposeful. As a breastfeeding mum, there is always a need for clothes with easy access to your boob at all times but the clothes on the market are not the most fashion-forward after your breastfeeding journey ends. Gillian has designed a line of clothing truly for breastfeeding and beyond. No more clickity clasps and unsightly fabric flaps hanging over your chests.

II discovered this brand only after delivering my second daughter, and I wish I had known about it during my first pregnancy. It’s perfect for the entire journey, from pregnancy through breastfeeding. The owner has clearly put a lot of thought into the design, and the quality and finishing of the pieces are excellent. The price is very reasonable for what you get. Highly recommend!

Effortlessly chic and functional nursing clothes. I love how a lot of their clothes are super well thought out, extremely smooth to touch, comfortable to wear and breathable for such a warm weather like Singapore! I don't think I've ever indulged in such SOFT clothes for MYSELF before, and having tried their clothes made me feel like a pampered baby all over again :")
Was very blessed to be able to personally try these clothes in Gillian's home studio before investing in a few pieces. I think that really helped me to gauge my postpartum size, and convinced me that their clothes are worth every penny.
As the saying goes in Chinese, "一分钱一分货". It's definitely worth every cent you pay!

Olive Basics have got to be the best maternity/nursing wear I’ve chanced upon since I gave birth.
The Esther Easy Latch Tank Top comes in such a wide variety of colours (I would have gotten almost all colour), not forgetting that it is really comfy and shapes the body real well! The best about this tank top is that it is a no bra tank top and the seamless padding just makes it a whole lot better. Not to forget that this tank top are reversible (switch between
round or square neckline)!
Not forgetting the Deborah Nursing Kimono Cardigan that I paired it with the tank top! The material is super soft and comfortable. It works well in covering when my baby is latching and how my sister used it as a blanket at home too cause the material is of top notch!

Bought the Hannah dress and Cardigan as a set and have no regrets! The dress fitted me well during pregnancy and post, and I wore it to a photoshoot in light rain without worry because it was water resistant. The cardigan is my absolute must-have as it’s so multi-functional. I’ve used it as a nursing cover, as a stylish outer wear and also, as a sun cover for my baby while she sleeps in her carrier or pram. Can’t wait to own more pieces from Olive Basics!

Bought 2 dresses (Hannah & Ruth) and received it in great packaging! Love the thoughtfulness even in the packaging and the handwritten note. I personally tried the dresses and they are made out of such good quality and the design is well thought out.
