By far the best in every aspect! Jim and his family/team are absolutely amazing. Our girl Ada was a nervy anxious mess, like a lot of GSD. Jim KNOWS his stuff and he explains everything so you understand it all. Ada has come such a long way, her confidence is growing, she is obedient, isn’t a anxious ball of crazy 🤣🤣 we are so thankful and blessed to have found Jim and becoming apart of NC K9, Ada will be staying in touch with Jim for years to come! I’ll never go anywhere else 🙌🏽

Wow, what can I say. As a K-9 Handler for 3 years I thought little issues with my dog were un-fixable, until I met NC K-9. In just a few short hours they have not only fixed several so these issues, but showed me how they were forming, why, and how to prevent! Can’t say enough about these guys!

I can’t say enough good things about NC K9!! I just picked up my two lab puppies from their four week board and train program and am amazed at how much progress these two made while working with Jim and Megan. His training works…he understands all dogs are different and adjusts his training approach accordingly. The facility is very nice! The dogs have access to climate controlled kennels, a fenced-in outdoor training area and a lot of mental stimulation. They are treated very well and are extremely well taken care of while there! Zadie and Mason will return in a few months to do some additional training when they’re a little bit older. Training is most definitely worth the investment! Big thanks to Jim and Megan for all the help with Zadie and Mason!

NC K9 took my 7 month old Pomsky who was ball of out of control energy and worked with her for a month. She lacked focus and would use her hind legs to try to pull me wherever she wanted to go when on a leash or lunge after anything that moved.
She returned from training last week with focus and responding to basis commands, including heel. They provided two hours of training for me when I picked her up. They predicted she would test me and try to get away with not responding. How true that was but they gave me the tools and instruction I needed to re-enforce her training. My granddaughter visited the day after I brought her home and said she's like a completely different dog.
Over the last week I have become more comfortable with the e-collar and my communication with my dog has improved. We are settling into a daily training pattern and I realize it is my job to maintain all she has learned. It is comforting to know NC K9 us available for additional assistance if and when needed. I highly recommend NC K9. I am thankful I found them and decided to invest in the training. They are worth every penny. Thank you NC K9 so much for all you have taught us. Update 7/22/2023: Azena is doing well and still has ADHD so she requires diligence on my part. The month of training with NC K9 was priceless and my lifesaver. She was lonely and needed a playmate so we have her half brother, Oz who is a year younger. He is calmer and more laid back.
Delivered Oz to NC K9 today. I know they will develop his knowledge of the basics and develop confidence with their consistent training. Can't wait to see his progress. Thanks for listening. Sharon

My Two English bull dogs were a hot mess before taking to them to Jim, with one who had serious behavioral issues. After Jim’s training, both of my boys have made a 360. Not an easy task with a breed known for their stubbornness. I can now take my boys outside and into public with confidence.

I really hope that wasn’t the owner of the company driving their van down 40/85. I wouldn’t want my dogs in the back of that van while he’s going 85+ swerving in and out of traffic. Giving 3 stars for benefit of doubt that there weren’t dogs in the van, and that maybe it was a newer employee.

I can not even express how happy and amazed I am with the results Miss Belle has achieved from NC K9 LLC. ! She went there a Very reactive girl towards other animals while on walks and out in public settings, and now after her time with the trainers at NC K9 she walks confidently and calmly. Miss Belle is a bit of a princess(aka a Brat) and showed it with her stubbornness but with the amazing work and care from her trainers she learned that her job is to listen to the command and follow when given (not when she feels like doing it 🤣) The training and support and program with NC K9 LLC is definitely one of a kind and is beyond amazing! The training and support goes beyond the time she spent there, it is a lifelong friendship/team to ensure Belle keeps up to her best self. I am so Thankful and grateful that we came across them and used there expertise to help Miss Belle be the best dog she can be!
Before Belle would go at her Kitty brothers as if they were her personal chase toy… and now… just look! She enjoys just laying and being by them!

Our pitbull used to be out of control, jumping on people and had no obedience. After taking him to NC K9, our pitbull did a complete 180 and is so well behaved.

I attended a tracking seminar hosted by NC K9 LLC. and absolutely loved it. Jim and his family provided food and drinks everyday and treated us all like family. Any questions I had related to working dogs or pet training either Candice, a trainer with NC K9 or Jim himself could answer. They’re always continuing their education in dog training to provide the most up to date training methods that work!!

Our 11 month old Goldendoodle Jase just got home after spending 4 weeks with NC-K9. Jase is a different dog. We dropped him off a total mess and we picked him up obedient with incredible self control. We are extremely pleased with the experience and so so proud of our big boy.
