Top Notch Outfit My family and I had three days of adventures with Mark's crew last summer. Both river fishing days and the flyout fishing/bear viewing viewing easily exceeded all of our expectations. The last day was a special trip with Mark himself. The fishing was great, the scenery was unbelievable, and the conversation and companionship with Mark made it that much better. Everyone agreed, it was a five-star trip.

Mark and Cindy Glassmaker are the most amazing and thoughtful hosts! The accommodations are clean, spacious and very well appointed. Gorgeous view of the river from the deck. The house has everything you might need including a very well equipped kitchen. The fishing was exceptional and Mark carefully curated the whole experience to suit our specific needs. Every detail was organized to perfection. My 80 year-old father had the time of his life and the fishing guides went out of their way to accommodate him. If you are looking for a relatively affordable fishing adventure in Alaska then this is the way to go. I can’t wait to come back! Thanks so much to our wonderful hosts for such a spectacular trip!

Highly efficient. Hosts are friendly and good accommodations with great grill on the balcony for long evenings. Make sure to check your travel times to whatever daily excursion you are doing as some are closer and others a 1hr drive (halibut)… There is a Fred Mayor up the street (Kroger) with all kinds of meat, booze and vegetables you can need. It’s on a cut-de-sac on a 5 mile road so an easy spot to have a run too, followed by a brisk swim in the river! Views of bald eagles from the balcony. Would come back.

What an incredible experience! Mark and Cindy went above and beyond for our trip! They are extremely welcoming, generous and easy to work with. My husband and I had a wonderful time fishing on the Kasilof with Alaska Fishing. Our guide Clayton, was knowledgeable and worked the river hard to make sure we enjoyed the trip and caught fish. Highly recommend Came here for my brothers bachelor party in July, and we had the most incredible experience. Mark planned an incredible itinerary for us halibut, king salmon, and sockeye salmon. When we weren’t on a guided trip we were at the cabins grilling up our fish next to the river and I even went and caught probably 8 trout right behind the property. An erm ran right up to us when we weren’t chilling by the fire one day. It was an amazing experience and my brother couldn’t have asked for a better bachelor party.

Awesome Experience! Alaska Fishing with Mark Glassmaker provided the best experience for my family. Fishing on the Kenai when the Sockeye Salmon were at their was so much fun. This was our first trip to Alaska and Alaska Fishing with Mark Glassmaker. Mark and his wife Cindy handled all our scheduling, bookings, and fish processing, making the process as simple as possible so we could enjoy Alaska. Instructions were clear and sent out each night prior to when we fished. We stayed at Moose Horn 1, which was a cozy two-bedroom cabin that had all the amenities we needed. Our guides Logan and Clayton were on time, considerate, made quick work of catching our limits, and filleted our catch at the docks each day. Mark and Cindy run a well-oiled machine, and I would not hesitate to use them again if we return.

This was our second year fishing with Alaska Fishing with Mark Glassmaker, and it was another fantastic experience. Our guides Ian, Clayton, and Hunter were knowledgeable, helpful, and fun to fish with. The fly-out trip was absolutely amazing—Hunter went above and beyond to make sure we got our limit of Silver Salmon and even had the unforgettable chance to see bears up close. They also made fish processing incredibly easy: each day we just dropped off our catch, and it was professionally packed, frozen, and ready for the flight home. All of our fish made it back to Texas completely frozen and in perfect condition. Highly recommend them for an incredible Alaskan fishing adventure!

What an experience with Mark and Cindy Glassmaker! Memories and experiences that are forever imprinted for a lifetime. They handled everything from lodging, fishing, fish processing and boxing for bringing the fish back home on the plane. Fishing for sockeye and the silvers was amazing and I would highly recommend the fly over Cook Inlet for sighseeing and lake/ stream fishing and an opportunity to see a bear.
