I have just visited the Mary How Trust for the second time for a screening and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I have a few minor issues that I face and the support in which the team have given me today has been so refreshing. I have faced a real battle at the GP over the years forcing me to hot a brick wall in regards to my health and just never felt heard, which is so unbelievably stressful at being batted away and almost felt like I was being a burden. The wonderful ladies at the Mary How Trust have not only made me feel heard but validated I wasn't going mad and were strongly on my side which is a huge sigh of relief! It was not just utterly wonderful being heard they made feel so very welcomed and beyond put me at ease. I cannot thank you ladies for today you will never know how much you have lifted my spirits today. To anyone reading this and debating whether to make an appointment DO NOT hesitate! If you like me have felt unheard get down there for a screening and know what is going on in your body at this wonderful place ....Get yours booked!

This was my first check up with Mary How, as a milestone birthday is on the horizon and it seemed time ! The whole process is easy, and as you have such lovely experienced people in the team. Any concerns you have, as most people dont love a blood test for example, melt away as you realise the kindness, professionalism and care of those working there. What you can see, and what you can get a feel for on the day is brilliantly explained also. A truly calm, personally focussed experience from a wonderful team, I couldn't recommend them more.

What a great charity and such an important service. The whole experience was really good, results were easy to understand and I discovered I had Gallstones (I've never experienced any symptoms) so now I know what to look out for. Highly recommend.

In particular, Pat the screening nurse was exceptional, not only with her calming and reassuring manner, but also how she took the time to explain each step and what each test did in lamens terms.
