Absolutely Incredible!
Marlies was simply AMAZING. She took such incredible care of us especially considering the chaos of the night/morning. We had lost power, it was extremely hot, and we were running off one power pack and a generator. But even with all of that going on, Marlies stayed calm, kind and completely in control. She was honestly our lifesaver.
She made myself and the entire bridal party feel so relaxed and comfortable. Her energy is warm, friendly and grounding, exactly what you need when nerves and excitement are high. She kept the morning fun, stress-free and full of laughs, even with the heat and power drama happening around us.
And her work? Absolutely flawless. She understood exactly what I wanted and made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself. My makeup and hair held up the whole day and night through heat, rain, tears, hugs, dancing and everything in between. My bridesmaid and flower girl looked stunning too.

I worked with Marlies for my wedding and from my very first meeting at the makeup trial, she was professional, kind, and immediately made me feel at ease. I was able to share my vision and Marlies was amazing at offering suggestions while still being attentive to my thoughts and feedback.
I wanted a soft, natural bridal look that complemented my features (East Asian background). On my wedding day, she perfectly refined the look based on my feedback and I really couldn’t fault it at all. It was also so lovely to have her there, as a very special and intimate celebration, she had such a warm and calming presence.

My daughter and myself booked an appointment with Marlies for a wedding which we attended a few weeks ago near Coolum. Marlies was very professional and caring and really listened to our choices on how we wanted our makeup and hair to look. We felt very comfortable at her home studio and her warm, kind and genuine nature made the whole experience wonderful. From the very beginning booking with a text to confirming emails and updates, Marlies was always prompt and polite. We left her home studio feeling amazing with the looks Marlies had achieved for us.
