***BEWARE of the this shady company!!*** They send out fake loan estimates promising you the world and telling you lies about your credit unions ripping you off just to get information about your deals that you shopped around with your preferred lenders. STAY AWAY!!

EDIT: I just worked with George Kadso for my second refinance with Lend-A-Loan, and I still confidently attest there is not a better loan officer, or team to work with. You will never wonder whether you are getting the best rate, or the best care. George Kadso is an all-star, and hes solidified himself as "my mortgage guy". There's no reason to keep shopping, these guys are the best. Original review, 1st refinance: As I ponder everything I would like to say, I'm finding myself wondering if there are enough kind words to share about this amazing firm, and the amazing team that makes the magic happen. I came to George Kadso with a roller coaster of drama between my former co-owner and I, but he was by my side every step of the way to ensure I walked away with my home and a smile at the end of the process. George is a patient, kind, fiercely capable and intelligent, and empathetic man that made me feel confident I was going to get the best deal for me, and I did thanks to him. No one should hesitate to work with him, or the rest of the team. Also, a special thanks to his superior, Christopher Khemmoro, who stepped in at the 11th hour when my former co-owner made things difficult. Christopher was a godsend, coaching me and the other owner through the refinance to make them happy and get me exactly what I wanted and needed. I loved working with them, and I will not go to anyone else in the future.

I want to post a recent experience I had with lendaloan mortgage. Big post but finally they offered a loan which beats all other loan estimates I had but I decided not to go because of the bad experience I had initially. I had a 6.625 interest on my current mortgage and I really had no intentions of refinancing unless I get very good rates. One of the guys from lendaloan mortgage called me offering 4.99 interest because I have a good credit score. I asked him about closing costs and he said he can give me an estimate if I provide some documents. I asked him if a credit check is needed and he said no credit check is needed to give an estimate. I shared him documents, I mentioned clearly on my email not to do a credit check until I authorize and I have not received any response to my email. I tried to reach out to him over the phone but he hasn’t picked up my phone. 3 days later credit check happens on my account and I looked at my credit report to see who pulled in my credit. It was on a different name, so I called in those guys and realized during the call that this credit check is done by lendaloan mortgage. I reached out to those guys and I was able to get in touch with the manager of that guy. I asked him why they did credit check without my authorization and he said I have given my consent to agent over phone for a credit check. I told him the agent mentioned over phone that a credit check is not required for estimate and I also mentioned about the email where I didn’t authorize a credit check. He said he wants to look over that email and call me back. He called me back saying that they were not the first company to do a credit check and someone has already done that before on my credit. I said no one did the credit check except you and I mentioned I didn’t authorize you.. He said he will call back and they called me back later with the agent telling me that there was a mistake and they did credit check. He promised me to give better rates and I accepted for that Since they mentioned they will give me better rates, I started shopping for rates to see what rate I would get else where. I was able to get 5.99 rate else where and it was given to me as an informal document. This agent calls me saying they got me a beautiful offer 5.625 and with closing costs of $28000 of which $16000 are going towards points buy for giving me 5.625. I told them I got 5.99 else where and agent asked me for a CD I sent the CD which I received from the other lender. The closing document that I shared with them has $4200 as total closing costs and $5700 as estimated cash to close and this is what the agent tried to do 1. First he tried to convince me saying that with their loan offer is better since I get to pay 5.625 interest instead of the 5.99 I received from other lender. I am saving 50 bucks each month. I told him paying $16000 upfront to buy points and total $28000 in closing costs to pay $50 less each month is not good. I asked him to reconsider what he is offering. 2. He still says that 5.625 they are offering is beating that other offer I got because of less interest rate. I asked him what offer/ closing costs would you give me 5.99 interest rate. For a while he kept on saying that there 5.625 is better even though they have $28000 closing costs. Then he started to listen to me and started answering on that 5.99 question and he said that they will do $10000 in closing costs. 3. I told him $10000 in closing costs is way above than $4200 in closing costs I am paying else where. He then started saying that in the CD from other lender I am paying $10000 in closing costs and that is because we need to sum total closing costs and estimated cash to close. I told him estimated cash to close is the final amount and we don’t need to sum total closing and estimated cash to close. He kept on saying that I am wrong and other lenders will rip you off in further stages.

Working with Candace and Michael was amazing. Everyone at Lend-A-Loan was so helpful. They explained to me when I had questions. They contacted me when things were due to make sure I didn't miss deadlines to close. I have bought houses before but have never experienced such great customer service!!!

I just completed an IRRL re-fi on my VA loan. I'm very happy with Lend-A-Loan. The process was very easy and Joey Delly, my loan officer, made sure I was well-informed and taken care of throughout the process. I got the rate I was looking for and reduced my monthly payment by $200. I highly recommend Lend-A-Loan to any veteran looking for home financing.
