Her method was a thoughtful three-step routine: she started by prepping and gently exfoliating my skin, followed by the sugaring treatment, and finished with a peel-off mask that left my skin incredibly soft and hydrated.

Step 1 – Exfoliation
Before removing hair, I gently exfoliate the skin to clear out impurities and residue.

Step 2 – Hair Removal (Sugaring)
When the skin is clean and free of buildup, the hair can be removed more thoroughly and smoothly,

Step 3 – Soothing Mask

Being a shy person with hyper sensitive skin,
I have to take a moment to describe my
personal experience at Glowy Sugaring with Owner, Jina Ban. At first glance, I was captivated by how clean and pristine the spa studio was and how I was overcome by the soothing sense of comfort and relief from the beginning to the end of the treatments. I have always been a bit reluctant to do any type of personal waxing service, after many bad experiences but nevertheless the overwhelming thoughts of pain or discomfort went away when I walked into Studio 33 at Glowy Sugaring and stepped into her peaceful and tranquil space to be welcomed by the most attentive and thoughtful esthetician I have ever met and come across. Jina Ban was very caring and understanding with a great attention to detail and a calm and gentle touch with a deep patience from the initial consultation through the final step.
Jina was very soothing and comforting and described her unique 3 step process that she carefully explained with the upmost care in detail.
I could not help to notice the level of dedication in her practice, the mastery of her technique and the high level of understanding when it came to the
execution during the entire process.
From the first step of exfoliation and
cleansing, to the second step of the
hair removal to the final step which
was the cooling mask which was something I have never witnessed or was ever offered anywhere else. Not to me the quality products she used from her home country of South Korea and Europe to include her own personal recipes and brand of Glowy products from scrubs, to moisturizers and to key sugar wax itself which made me clean and refreshed without any sight or sensation of pain or itching that I usually felt or witnessed at other spa studios that performed the same type treatments.
I scheduled a manzillian appointment and stayed for a facial appointment to boot after discovering this personal heaven and being educated by Jina.
I give Glowy Sugaring 10 stars and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking
for a luxurious and top shelf facility for
quality and caring waxing or facial services.
