Dose was a smooth process from start to finish. From the outset, they were responsive, provided a reliable quote, and sent an appropriate team and equipment. The movers themselves (Johnny, Adam, and Steven) were polite, friendly, efficient, and kept a positive attitude--even on a 100+ degree summer day in Phoenix. They worked hard to make our move quick and keep our furniture safe, and they went the extra mile to be personable. Moving is never a fun experience, but Dose absolutely did their part to make it as good as it ever might be.

Unfortunately it took me about 5 months to get around to writing this review, however the damage from using this company will last a lifetime. They cost us an estimated $5k in damage to our furniture. We had a cross country move and they showed up with two guys. The two guys were sluggish and had to send more reinforcements to do the move. No one told us we needed to buy a bunch of blankets to protect our furniture (given this is our first cross country move we were unaware that we had to have these.) We ended up rushing to the store to get blankets yet the store only had three available which was not nearly enough to get the job done. Management will probably say it's our fault, however the pieces that were wrapped with blankets still managed to get broken by their poor wrapping and handling of our furniture (see photos for broken stand for the tv which was wrapped with a blanket.) They did a shoddy job with Saran wrap as many of our items were exposed and the wrap was often ripped. My family had an excellent experience with our local move from Norterra to Arcadia with Dose. Carrie, our move coordinator, was immensely helpful in breaking down our various options and costs as we planned the move. She was extremely responsive and flexible as we had to make changes to our move-out/-in dates and arrange for storing our things overnight. The crew that packed, loaded, and unloaded our things (Amarie / Deshawn / Jade / Kevin / Greg) was fantastic - they took great care in handling all of our things, asked questions rather than making assumptions, and were extremely courteous throughout the process. And there were no surprises in the final cost, with everything thoroughly documented and detailed, along with a guided overview before we paid. I would highly recommend Dose for any local PHX moves. Moving is never an easy or fun process, but Dose did their part to make it as pleasant and smooth as possible. I have done four full home moves in the past decade, and this was by far the best experience I have had.

I am a single woman and had a big move after accumulating way too many belongings over the years. I contacted DOSE moving and received a quote very quickly from Carrie who was extremely friendly and helpful. She asked me as many questions as she could in order to give me the most accurate quote possible. The day of the move, a large truck and four men came to work and the move indeed took longer than anticipated because of how much I had but the guys worked tirelessly and expeditiously to get everything safely and securely packed away. I'm so glad I didn't attempt to recruit friends to help me with my move because there is no way my belongings would have moved as nicely as DOSE moved them. They didn't use a dolly inside the house because they didn't want to risk causing any damage to floors and they wrapped all my furniture in blankets and saran wrap. They were able to disassemble and reassemble furniture and move everything nicely. I was not able to unhook my washer and dryer on my own even though the moving company requests that you disconnect all appliances but the guys did it for me with zero resistance. CJ was the ring leader here and made sure that all the men were careful and tentative with all my belongings, making special care to move everything with caution. Q was in charge of going over the fees with me and he was very sweet and patient. Thank you DOSE for helping make my move smooth!!

Absolutely the worst! They broke parts to the bunkbeds ! They had no tools to even put the bunkbed together! One guy cut his finger and bled on our brand new fabric bedframe and brand new creamy white rug ! I get accidents happen but when I contacted Carrie in a panic she was of absolute zero help! She had zero references on who to call in this type of situation! She said all I can do for you is send you a claim form for you to file and maybe Google someone who can help you ! I had to hire a cleaner! I had to hire someone to come fix the broken bed part and assemble it. Dose Moving used to be owned by Patrick and Merrilee and was an amazing company ! Ever since they sold this company it has gone completely down hill!! I would never recommend this company to anyone!!

Hi Michelle, I’m sorry this move was frustrating for you. I’d like to address the concerns you brought up. First, we all love Patrick and Marilee! They are awesome, and they built a wonderful company. Fortunately, we remain in close contact with them, and we appreciate their ongoing involvement and input. Sometimes our movers, experienced as they are, run into furniture that’s tricky to dissemble. I know you were frustrated that one of our movers cut his finger and got a spot of blood on the footboard and rug. He felt really bad about it. I apologize that I wasn’t able to give you a referral for a cleaner , but it’s important to us at Dose that we don’t make referrals unless we have experience with the company and know they are quality. I didn’t mean to upset you, but that’s why I suggested you find a cleaner that you were comfortable with, as I couldn’t personally make a recommendation. I noticed you haven’t submitted a claim yet. I can email you the link again. It doesn’t take long, but it’s necessary for our insurance. Please fill it out, as I said on the phone, we’d love to take care of this for you! Again, I’m sorry your experience with us this time wasn’t as positive as it has been in the past.

Wonderful packing experience. Four great young gents showed up on time and went right to work. They were helpful, respectful, polite, and careful in what they did. Just had the easiest move of my life yesterday thanks to Greg and friend (sorry I can’t recall his name! Save yourself the trouble trust me,no matter what kind of discount you get offered Dose is not worth it they underpay their employees, and think it's funny, they treat customers with a disrespectful manner . Hi Tom, I checked our records and realized that you have never been a client of ours. I was puzzled and then I realized you called in to enquire about a job with us, and asked what our starting pay was. I'm sorry you felt the pay was low, on the contrary, we pay on the high end of the industry standard, and pay is commensurate with experience. We're also one of the few companies that offer our movers full benefits. As to the rest of your review, I think the overwhelmingly positive reviews we have from ACTUAL clients speak for themselves. We're not perfect, but we do a pretty darn good job. I do wish you luck on your job search though, Tom.
