I had an unforgettable experience with Discover Ishigaki Tours on their snorkeling tour! The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the fact that they were English-speaking made everything so much easier. The tour included a breathtaking sightseeing trip around Ishigaki Island, showcasing its natural beauty, and the beach picnic lunch was such a delightful touch. The highlight, of course, was snorkeling with sea turtles in the crystal-clear water. If you're visiting Ishigaki Island, this tour is an absolute must for a perfect day of adventure and relaxation!

Great day out. Zohar is very friendly and accommodating. Nice small tours, lunch included, flexible with sites/locations and Zohar a handy little photographer too. Highly recommended.

I discovered Discover Ishigaki through some googling and the tour company had a lot of great reviews. I wanted an English speaking tour and from the reviews it seemed like they could cater to their guests as far as the itinerary goes. Our guide was even kind enough to store our suitcases in his van during the tour as we were in between hotels! Zohar picked us up bright and early so we could avoid the crowds which we were grateful for because as we left the site of the Blue Cave after snorkeling for two hours, it was superrrr crowded!! We had a couple of close encounters with sea turtles which was super dreamy! And Zohar caught the whole thing on camera which he later uploads and sends you a link to. We mentioned wanting to see Kabira Bay and we got a lot of great photos of the crystalline water! He’s also very informative from pointing out all the different fish during snorkeling to the shells and rock formations in the Blue Cave to the lizards running around the vegetation. Another thing he pointed out that we found interesting was all the signage locals put up to prevent demons from entering!! We notice them everywhere now! From there he drove us to another beautiful beach for a picnic lunch. He’s thorough in asking for any allergies and/or dietary restrictions so I was able to enjoy a pescatarian obento. After he took us to the island’s best kept sweet secret for some fantastic local gelato with a view!!!! I’ll seriously be dreaming about that gelato for the remainder of these 30C+ days. Finally he took us to el ultimooo view at Oganzaki Lighthouse. He also had some great recommendations so don’t hesitate to ask him! If you’re looking for a tour with a well informed, educational, funny and friendly tour guide definitelyyy book with Zohar at Discover Ishigaki!! We hope to come back someday!

We had an amazing snorkeling trip with Zohar! From start to finish he was an amazing guide and helped make the trip the highlight of our trip to ishigaki. and to anyone considering a snorkeling trip to ishigaki, we would give our warmest recommendations to choose Discover Ishigaki. and when we return to ishigaki again in a couple of years, we will make it our pleasure to do another snorkeling trip with Zohar!

Wunderbare Schnorchel-Tour. Absolut einmaliges Erlebnis. Zohar ist ein genialer Guide, wir fühlten uns die ganze Tour sicher aufgehoben. Er spricht perfekt englisch, die Tour war in einer Kleingruppe (4 Personen). Er weiss auch wo die Schildkröten sich befinden. Ist absolut empfehlenswert wenn man in Ishigaki schon mal ist.

Today we did a tour of Ishigaki with Zohar, which exceeded expectations! He tailors the experience to whatever you have in mind, from snorkeling to hiking. We just wanted him to show us his favorite spots, and he did exactly that, bringing us to places that only a local would know. Especially loved the mango farm pit stop for gelato and the view from Oganzaki lighthouse. He took so many pictures of us throughout the trip. It was nice to get shots other than selfies! My only regret is not doing the tour with Discover Ishigaki earlier so we could get restaurant recommendations before our last day! Zohar was friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend taking a tour with him if you want to experience the island!

Very nice experience! Beautiful snorkeling in a rainy day. Zohar is very well prepared and is car is super equipped for any situation. He was so kind to bring us directly to the airport after the snorkeling and create a customized experience in function of our needs. It was also a pleasure to chat with him and discover something more on the culture of the island. Absolutely suggested!

We went two full day trips with Zohar, and both were super. He has a lot of knowledge about the island, and fit for our interests also brought us to places, which were good combination of culture and hiking. He is a very flexible, easy-going and open minded guy. We really enjoyed the conversations with him, He has a good sense of humor which is a big plus. The quality of the trips were excellent, he is a reliable, well-prepared guy. Highly recommend!!

We took two days of hiking and sightseeing with the company and Zohar secured us an experience to remember. We planned our route based on his recommendations, taking into account our ideas, the weather as well and we did everything just accordingly. The food was nice, the equipment worked etc so on the service side it was excellent. And what I personally enjoyed, equally to the tracks and views were the conversations about culture, nature and his local stories. He’s a good guy, the company is highly recommended. My message to the Boss is: good job, keep the employees happy and they will keep the customers happy!

Fantastic snorkelling trip! Everything was really well organized & easy. We just had to sit back & enjoy! It was great to be a small group to be able to enjoy the wildlife and easily be able to show one another things :) I also appreciated receiving all the photos taken during the tour as well. Nice memory!

Tutto organizzato perfettamente: snorkelling e tour privato dell’isola( compresa pausa gelato al mango in una fattoria dove vengono coltivati diversi tipi di mango) Consigliatissimo . We were most fortunate to find Zohar as our guide. Our personal all-day tour was spectacular! We began with two hours of snorkeling, swimming close amongst all manner of brilliantly colored fish, coral, and impressively large turtles. This was followed by visits to several postcard-perfect beaches and a jungle trek to a mountain top with a 270 degree view of Ishigaki Island, with stops along the way for the best tropical fruit and ice cream I ever tasted. Zohar is extremely knowlegeable, a great photographer (he took pictures for us throughout the day) and a really nice man! This day was definitely the highlight of our time in Okinawa. I can recommend DiscoverIshigaki unreservedly!

Choosing discover ishigaki tours was the best decision we made in ishigaki. If you are visiting the island, I would highly highly recommend to at least book a one full day tour with them where the guide will bring you snorkeling, hiking, sight seeing, photo taking, gelato eating and beach side picnicking. Our guide, Zohar, was really nice, funny, encouraging, knowledgeable and speaks perfect English. We learned so much about ishigaki from him in one day. The tour was truly an awesome way to really appreciate the island.

We had a great expierience. Went snorkeling and have seen al lot of Nice coral, fish and plenty of turtles. He takes his time to find them and guides the small group Very Well. Hé is really good with guiding kids too. English speaking guide which is great as hè knows a lot about Ishigaki Island. After snorkeling hè drove us around to Very Nice places in the Island. I Really recommend this operator. No regrets at all.

We had a great day snorkeling and sightseeing with Zohar around the blue cave. His knowledge and enthusiasm were a great pairing to learn a lot about the island and the activities we were doing. We liked it so much we even booked a second day doing the river trekking, which was a lot of fun. We got the chance to trek through what felt like unexplored jungle and saw a lot of cool animals and experience the sights and sounds of the jungle. We would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to dive headfirst into the activity and have a memorable experience. Zohar even went so far as to recommend great food spots in town and other things to do on the island (it also helps that he is fluent in English so there was no language barrier).
