From the very beginning of the process, Datel Electrical were exceptionally helpful. They took the time to explain what needed to be done in my new rental property in a way that was easy to understand, which I really appreciated.
The team stayed late to ensure all the work was completed to a high standard, and they were professional, helpful, and respectful throughout. They also made sure everything was cleaned and tidied up after the job was finished.
Communication between the technician, the administration team, and myself was excellent from start to finish—clear, prompt, and professional at all times.

Emergency repair.
All the staff I spoke to on the phone over two days were very polite, friendly and helpful. I needed the repair to a plug socket to be done as soon as possible. Datel were very busy but managed to get Adam to us on the second day with his colleague. Both friendly and efficient. They got the repair done quickly, doing a good job. I would definitely use this company again.

Wonderful service and support from Datel again, I'm a returning customer, wouldn't go anywhere else now! Macauley and Connor, a fab team, came to replace light switches and raise a plug socket for me and arranged for a plug socket to be replaced another day. Excellent duo and lovely, helpful phone staff too. Prices are reasonable. Work completed in good time on the day, absolutely no mess!! 6 stars if I could. Highly recommend Datel Electrical. Thank you.

I recently needed to replace four ceiling downlights in my kitchen, and a broken exterior wall light on the balcony of my apartment.
I am not a DIY fan, so I decided to contact a local electrical firm to undertake the tasks on my behalf.
I already knew of Datel Electrical Ltd, having passed by their local base on numerous occasions. It was also comforting to discover that the Company is listed with Checkatrade.
Initial contact via email was fabulous! Jo was very warm and welcoming, swiftly arranging for her colleague David to make a site visit to assess the situation.
David arrived promptly on the appointed day. A very affable and knowledgeable guy.
An agreeable quote for the jobs reached my PC inbox promptly.
A booking was soon made for engineer Harry to undertake the tasks in question. A pleasant young man, he arrived punctually on the arranged day, and carried out the repairs/replacements in a very efficient and professional manner. I was particularly impressed with how he tackled a glitch that arose with the light switch that operates the balcony light. A wiring issue that was soon rectified, following deeper investigation.
I was also delighted with the friendly, businesslike communication, received from Chris, the firm's Operations Manager.
I contacted the Company on a second occasion to request assistance with reconnection of twin ceiling lights - located in my lounge - following disposal of undesirable fittings as installed by the previous residents of my home. Engineers Peter and George attended to the task. I echo my sentiments as stated about Harry's expertise!
Datel Electrical Ltd are the ultimate on the following; approachability, communication, customer focus, efficiency, professionalism, punctuality, and first class workmanship.
I am very happy with these most satisfying end results, and am sure that the other Company team members offer excellent service too!

July 2026 edit; lovely to meet up with Peter again, and his workmate Jon, who undertook a domestic EICR, alongside replacement of smoke, carbon monoxde, and heat detector units that had reached the end of their 10 year usage.

Datel recently supplied and fitted an electric shower in our main bathroom. The service we received was 5 star. All the workers who attended throughout were courteous, professional and respected our property at all times. Shoes were removed and dust sheets put down. Explained / showed us what we needed to know . Can’t fault them. Not the cheapest company but I would use again without hesitation. Highly recommend this company

Datel ran in a 20A supply for a large appliance in our home. The work was carried out very efficiently & the cabling installed using the most unobtrusive route. We would definitely recommend Datel.

Datel Electrical Ltd removed the old storage heaters and replaced them with 'smart' versions. The new heaters have been a great investment!
