Attending the drumming event with Guide Peter de Haan, and thanks to the warm welcome and excellent organization by Marjolein at her Costa del Soul Retreat Center, I was able to enjoy a magnificent experience, unlike anything I've ever had before, and one I wholeheartedly recommend. I was also surrounded by wonderful people who helped me grow, and I am so grateful to have been accompanied by such beautiful souls who made me feel so supported. I also want to acknowledge my deep connection with the group; we created a beautiful connection, perfectly in sync with the rhythm of the drums. Thank you so much 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Thank you for your response but it doesn’t change the facts: you are asking people a lot of money with months in advance for the retreats, you are not able to create a safe space and when i asked you for the refund because of your behaviour you pretended nothing is wrong.
On top of that you are currently using ads on facebook containing videos with me without my consent, not to mention it is highly unethical considering your position towards me.
That is a SCAM 🙈🙈🙈
I do not recommend these facilitators.
In mid-December, I paid €555 as a first installment for a retreat scheduled to take place in Spain. Shortly after the payment, my subsequent interactions with the main facilitator felt increasingly uncomfortable: passive-aggressive, dismissive, and noticeably lacking in empathy. These exchanges made me seriously question whether this retreat would be a safe or supportive space for me.
With nearly three months still remaining before the retreat, I chose to act in good faith and be honest. I explained that, based on these interactions, attending no longer felt like a good or healthy decision for me.
I also offered to help find a replacement participant to avoid any financial impact on their side — This offer was ignored, not even acknowledged.
The response I received was rigid and transactional, essentially: if you don’t like it, leave. There was no attempt to understand my experience, no care for how I felt, and no concrete effort to resolve the situation. Although both facilitators vaguely mentioned that “it would have been good to have a call,” no actual call was ever proposed or scheduled.
This approach is especially concerning given that their retreat explicitly invites people into a space of vulnerability, emotional safety, and transformation. Based on my experience, this was not embodied in practice.
Additionally, several serious transparency issues only emerged after the dispute:
1. No invoice was issued at the time of payment although the facilitators invoked terms ans conditions upon being requested the refund
2 The payment was made to a personal Revolut account, not a business account.
Key information about non-refundability and applicable law was only invoked later, not clearly disclosed upfront.
3 I was told that Dutch law applies, despite the retreat and services being delivered in Spain, which raised further red flags.
Being denied a refund of a significant amount — almost €600, with ample time to replace my spot — left me feeling deeply disappointed and misled.
Overall, my experience showed a lack of empathy, professionalism, and transparency. I would strongly advise anyone considering this retreat to request clear contracts, invoices, refund conditions, and applicable legal jurisdiction in writing before making any payment.

The weekend at Costa del Soul was again a beautiful experience. It feels like comeing home when entering the gate. The drum building workshop with Peter was amazing. Full of knowledge, heart and good energy.
The 1:1 session I had with Marjolein was a very special experience. She has such a sensitive sense and I directly felt able to open up. I could connect deeper with myself and got new impulses.

I’m still carrying the high, uplifting energy I received during my Costa.del.Soul experience, and something truly unexpected has been happening since: people keep looking at me, catching my eyes, noticing me in a way they never did before. It feels like something inside me opened.
My Vortex Healing session with Marjolein was incredible. The way she works with energy is subtle, powerful, and deeply intuitive. I felt myself dropping into a state of calm I haven’t reached in a long time: relaxed, lighter, almost as if a weight had lifted off my entire system.
Marjolein holds such a gentle, grounded space that the process feels both safe and transformative. I’m genuinely grateful for the shift it created in me.

Nu ik weer thuis ben, merk ik pas hoeveel rust ik heb gevonden én hoeveel nieuwe energie er door me heen stroomt. - Alles ademde zorg, schoonheid en aandacht. Van de warme aarde tinten tot de groene tegeltjes en de koperen kranen, overal voelde ik de liefde waarmee dit retreat centrum is gecreëerd. De omgeving adembenemend, zo is er een openluchttheater onder de sterrenhemel. Ik deed mee aan een new moon ceremonie. Magic! De tent cozy and charming (een belltent mijn favo) waarin ik elke nacht diep tot rust kwam. Het eten een feest op zich: puur, voedzaam en met zoveel liefde bereid door Marjolein en Mar. Geen wonder dat ik nu, terug thuis, bruis van energie. Daarnaast voel ik me ook opnieuw mega vrouwelijk en stralend bovendien. Met diepe dankbaarheid kijk ik terug op een geweldige week ❤️ Marije

Our weekend at this glamping site in Guaro was simply beautiful! The place is amazing, with a lovely pool, jacuzzi, and chillout area. The views are spectacular, and the tents are super comfortable. A special thank you to our host, Marjo, who was wonderful. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

I had the opportunity to spend two days at Costa del Soul, and from the moment I arrived, I could feel the high vibration this place holds. Embraced by nature and surrounded by animals, trees, and flowers, I immersed myself in various workshops hosted in the beautiful dome at the property.
I’m so grateful for the chance to experience this wonderful place and I’m already looking forward to coming back again this month.
A fantastic Retreat location surrounded by stunning scenery. Costa del Soul is a beautiful and tranquil place. The inland, hillside location is well away from the busy-ness of the coastal resorts, yet within easy distance of Marbella and Malaga. The host, Marjolein, made me feel very welcome and did a great job of catering to the needs of her guests. I highly recommend Costa Del Soul to anyone who wants to experience being immersed in nature combined with luxurious camping.

Costa del soul is een adembenemende plek met een magische energie gecreëerd voor retreats door Marjolein. Onlangs heb ik met mijn partner bij datenight bijgewoond. Hele mooie fijne ervaring om weer dieper samen te connecten. mooie oefeningen en de avond werd geleid door Mar de Hartog. Wow wat een ervaring en krachtige powervrouw. we hebben intens genoten van deze avond en heeft weer veel bijgedragen aan bewustwording om samen te verbinden en hier tijd voor te maken. Ik zou elk stel deze ervaring gunnen.
