Overall a very mixed bag. The initial Mower was damaged. This resulted in poor customer service initially, linked with staff shortages and some very stressed people at the Compass office. On occasions calls not returned and promises not fulfilled.
Finally the situation resolved by the Compass own van driver who drove all the way from their office on a very hot day to deliver our Mower and take one that was damaged. Perhaps he should be running the company!
Stay clear of this.
Absolute joke of a company £1000 for 2 honda izy
1st one never worked properly took me 4 months to get my money back ,no explanation. 2nd machine worked for 5 month, then the gurd underneath came flying of while in use,and couldve done serious damage if it had hit someone. They tell me they've looked at it,but the warranty is with honda, talking about pass the buck, oh yes but they could fix it for £300 . Do yourself a favour shop elsewhere, not 1 izy but 2 what does that tell you.the technician I spoke to didn't have a clue ,it was but my manager said.
Never again stay clear or through your money away.

Item arrived quickly and basic assembly was straightforward enough as pretty much assembled. On starting had little to no power, nothing in the relatively simplistic manual for troubleshooting, did email for assistance but no response. Eventually figured out adjusting the cable length of the throttle which solved the issue, but a response would have been appreciated, not all of us understand machinery in the same way. Now working, it does cut well, chews through the cable though so although 2 sets of spares included be prepared to order a spool of 4mm twist cable and cut to length as you will need it.
I purchased the self powered weed wacker. It's an excellent piece of kit ,pretty quiet and you don't get sprayed with debris when walking behind it. When you assemble it at home , if the cutting wheel does not start to rotate when U pull the lever then adjust the screw thread adjuster on the cable drive until it starts to rotate ,it isn't faulty it just needs a tiny screw adjustment on the cable and then it's all fine. Also the oil comes in a plastic container without measuring markings so pour into a measuring jug first then fill oil sump
so U know how much you have tipped in .
Unfortunately find the mower a bit slow but the cut is fine and when mowing on level 2 tbe machine does not propel well enough: the power is very slow for the weight of the machine. When you see on the video amd practical does not seem the same.
Appreciate if you suggest if I am doing anything wrong.
