I sadly had to say goodbye to my best friend on the 3rd January. Toby was 16 and had dementia and was wary of strangers and hated trips to the vets. Sally came to the house, instantly made friends with him and made the whole process peaceful and calm. I can honestly say that I know I did the right thing by him and he went to sleep in his bed and it was more than I could have ever wanted. A wonderful service, from the staff that answered the phones and guided you through the hardest decision, to the way they organise for your pet to be collected if cremation is what you want. And to Sally, thank you, thank you for helping me to be ok with saying goodbye, for the kindness and time you gave us and making the hardest decision as peaceful as could be. I am truly grateful. It was worth every pound more than going to the vets for the peace he had at the end.

It is a very sad to have to turn to someone like Cloud 9 vets, but if you have to do so, they were great. Caring but really clear booking service, and the vet who attended at our house was really lovely. Gave my family space to say goodbye, and dealt with our dog brilliantly. Thank you.

Last Saturday was one of the hardest days i have ever had to deal with. Our nearly 17 year old cat Oreo had just become too ill overnight to carry on. As a family we made the decision that he should go to sleep at home, in his favourite spot without the stress of the car journey to get to his regular vets. I called Cloud9 and from the moment the phone was answered all i heard was compassion and empathy. I even started crying but the reassurance i received was comforting and allowed me to make good decisions for Oreo. Within a couple of hours Sally (the vet) was on my doorstep, and a sense of relief came over us all. We knew Oreo was struggling and needed that help to help him struggle no more. Sally was calm, professional and incredibly reassuring, to not only Oreo but to us too. We needed that guidence. Oreo said his goodbyes to the family and him and I snuggled on the sofa, ready for him to go into a peaceful sleep. It was perfect!.. well as perfect as it can be. Sally stayed with us until he passed and then gave me some 'alone time' with him, where i was able to have a good cry and a last few strokes with my little man. I didn't know that Cloud9 existed or that pets could be put to sleep at home, as Previously i had always taken them to the vets, with the stressful journey, sitting in a waiting room full of other people.. but not no more. This was perfect for us. For the family and me, because we could grieve in our own home, but more importantly for Oreo, because he could fall asleep in his own spot, in his own home, with no stress, no anxiousness and surrounded by people who love him. Thank you Cloud9 and Sally, i shall be recommending you to everyone!

Feeling really grateful to Cloud 9 after having to put my beloved Gal to sleep suddenly last week. From the people I spoke to on the phone to arrange it all, as well as Sonia who came to my house to send Gal off, they were so sympathetic, caring and kind - making this heartbreaking process as easy as it could be. I just received a personalised card in the post which I wasn’t expecting and which has really made me feel looked after. Absolutely recommend Cloud 9 if you ever find yourself in this difficult situation.

We had to put our beloved dog to rest due to illness, and our vet recommended to do it fast as he is suffering. We called all the local vets that were offering at home euthanasia and none could do it the same day. I understand that we called around 4 pm, and it is very late, but when your most loved being is suffering, you can not let them in that state for so many more hours. Cloud 9 vets were very understanding and kimd and have found Sonia, which came at 9 pm and gave him the most comfortable last moments. She was very kind and caring for our pet and also for us being in that distress. After a few days, we received a sympathy card in the mail from the team and Sonia. Thank you for your kind service. We truly appreciate it!

I’m so glad Cloud 9 came into our lives at the right moment. My beautiful 5 year old Frenchie – Levi – had gone from being a happy loving playful little dog to having around 20 lumps over his body – cancer that spread within 2-3 weeks (likely spread so fast due to Apoquel tablets – please google the link between these tablets and cancer). 5 days after his diagnosis, I had to put him to sleep as his eyesight went completely, then his balance and ability to stand up. It was absolutely heartbreaking and still is. I hadn’t thought about the end for my dog, and had made no plans until the day I decided it had to be done. I wasn’t even aware of home euthanasia. I’m so glad I found out about it, and I’m so glad Cloud 9 came up in my search results when I was desperately trying to find someone to come out at short notice so late on a Friday. I’d been let down by another company who said they were coming out then called at 6pm to say they couldn’t come. I had so few options – Cloud 9 did everything they could to find one of their vets to come over to my house late on a Friday evening. I think they knew how desperate I was at that point. Sonia came to my house to see Levi off to sleep. He went lying in his favourite place – my bed – with his favourite food. It was just like he went to sleep. Sonia was so compassionate and gentle and kind. I feel like I had the best person in the world come to help us in the worst moment – she was perfect in every way. I’ll remember Sonia for the rest of my life. It was the saddest experience, but she made it – right, just right. Cloud 9 vets, and Sonia – thank you for being there. And to the team at Phoenix Pet Cremations who came to collect my boys body after Sonia left – they were just the best. Thank you Cloud 9 for organising that with them for me. It was all so beautifully done.

Thank you so much for sharing Levi’s story with us. We are truly sorry for the heartbreaking loss of your beloved boy. It's never easy to say goodbye—especially so suddenly and so young—but we’re incredibly grateful that we could be there for you and Levi when you needed us most.

Your words about Sonia mean the world to us. She is a deeply compassionate part of our team, and it brings us comfort to know that her presence and care helped create a peaceful goodbye for Levi, right where he felt most safe and loved.

We also want to thank you for acknowledging Phoenix Pet Cremations—your kind feedback will be passed along to them as well.

Please know that our thoughts are with you as you grieve your beautiful Levi. You gave him love, dignity, and peace in his final moments, and that is the greatest gift of all.

At times like this you want clarity, ease and compassion. The pricing was clear. The booking process quick and easy. There were enough but not too many questions. Alex the vet was compassionate and caring from the moment he walked through the door. He reassured us. Talked us through the whole process. Did not rush us. Suggested when to take our final cuddles. Gave advice about her burial. He was respectful andmade a very difficult and sad moment that little bit more tolerable. Thank you, Alex.

I recently contacted Cloud9 and I have to say they were great, from the person on the phone who had to listen to my incoherent words to the most brilliant vet who came to the house, who was calm and collected and gave me time to talk about my dog and who encouraged me to stay with my dog, theough the whole process.( I wasnt sure if I could)Really I could not of asked for more . Cloud9 also organised the crematorium company, who also were timely and kind and just great. The situation was difficult, but everything ran smoothly which meant I could be in the moment with Obie till the end. Highly recommend .

We made the difficult decision to let our beautiful 14 year old dog Brody take her journey over the rainbow bridge on the 11th of April. The lady on the phone was so lovely and took her time to explain everything. The vet that came out to us was Zoi and she was absolutely wonderful. Zoi took the time to meet and talk to not only Brody but her sister Casper and she was so lovely with them. She was so respectful and empathetic and gave our Brody such a peaceful passing. She gave us time with Brody alone and explained everything she was doing. We can’t thank her enough for putting us at ease in such a hard moment.

My 21 and a half year old cat Dylan sadly had to cross the rainbow bridge recently and I was extremely anxious about having to travel 45 mins to our usual vet as he has always been incredibly stressed by car travel and i did not want that to be his last experience. A colleague recommended Cloud 9 to me and from the moment I called, I was a lot less worried about letting him go although I was still unsure if I was making the decision at the right time. When the vet, Lahra, arrived she was so kind and compassionate and we made the decision together. Dylan passed incredibly peacefully and completely stress free in his favourite spot by the Rayburn. I could not have hoped for a kinder, quieter and more dignified passing for him. My other cat sat next to him the whole time, and I was so glad he was able to go so peacefully. I would recommend Cloud 9 to anyone, especially if you are as worried as I was about that final journey.

I would never *recommend* having your pet put to sleep. But if you do find yourself in that heartbreaking position, I couldn’t recommend Cloud 9 more highly. From the first phone call to the days following the appointment, everything was handled with such care and compassion. The vet was incredibly kind and calm, taking the time to explain the entire process, answering our questions with patience, and offering a truly comforting presence throughout. Our beloved Spike passed peacefully at home, surrounded by love, and for that we are truly grateful. Thank you, Cloud 9 – you made an incredibly difficult time more bearable.

Excellent service. Fast response. The vet who attended, Josie, was lovely. She said all the right things on such a horrible occasion. She was very kind and gentle and made an awful situation as good as it could be. Cloud9 also arranged cremation services, allowing us to have a bit of time alone with our boy before they came to pick him up. I highly recommend Cloud9 Vets.

When you have to make the hardest decision you will ever face, I couldn’t recommend Cloud 9 more. From start to finish everyone was so compassionate and understanding and really helped me to get my mind around the enormity of the situation. Sonia the vet was absolutely wonderful and made me and Coco at ease straight away, I couldn’t have wished for a kinder person to be by our side. A huge heartfelt thank you for making a devastating situation a tiny bit easier it meant the world.

We had the difficult decision to let our 20 year old cat, Dora, cross the rainbow bridge recently. We always wanted her to go peacefully on her own bed, by her radiator with her family by her side. Because of Cloud 9 we were able to do this. The call handlers are so kind and compassionate. You give them the details and they do all the work for you and come back with information. Our vet, Robert, was amazing. He explained everything in detail and reassured us that we were doing the right thing. He spoke to us aswell as Dora throughout the entire process. Cloud 9 and Robert made a hard thing a little bit easier. Thank you all at Cloud 9 and Robert. X The lady I spoke to on the phone reassured me that we were doing the right thing and this was the last act of kindness we could provide Dora. She gave me the reassurance I needed. Can’t remember her name but thank you x

We used cloud9 vets to help our lovely boy over rainbow bridge on the 21st January at the grand age of 14. The staff on the phone were so lovely and the vet Robert who came out went above and beyond spending time explaining everything to us and cuddling our boy Zuko. Thank you all so much for your care and compassion

It was three months ago this week and I have only just felt able to write my review. This was the hardest decision I have ever had to make. I knew my cat was not going to live past Christmas (it was October when I was told by the vet) however he still had quality of life. The kind and experienced people on the other end of the phone at Cloud 9 were there for me each time (and it was multiple times) I needed to speak to run his latest symptoms past them, uncertain if I was prolonging his pain or making the call too early. They talked his current state through with me, and said I would know when it was time, and they were right. I am so grateful for these girls. On the day the Italian vet (Paula?) was so brilliant, kind and gentle. She explained the procees perfectly and we had as much time as we needed before it was time for him to take his much needed sleep. I will be forever grateful of my time with my boy. I am also grateful he could jump onto the rainbow bridge where he was most comfortable. Thank you all at Cloud 9.
