The menu is standard and we ordered simply. Food was very good.
They were out of lamb shish (really? at a Turkish place?) so I ordered grilled chicken wings which were terrific. Skin had been slashed to allow more fat to render off. I had never seen this technique before but will adopt it for home grilling. Lots of smokey charcoal flavour on the meat. Perfectly tender with thin crispy skin. Lots of crisp fresh veg as accompaniment as well as under seasoned bulgar.
My companion got meatballs with aubergine puree. Again plenty of smoke and charcoal in the flavour of the aubergine. Meatballs were nicely spiced and had been pan fried.
Disappointments were bland garlic sauce and over toasted bread. Great meats and salad though. Aubergine was terrific too. Charcoal grilling was excellent. Generous portions.

Having tasted many İskenders in my life, I can tell you the İskender here is delicious. They don't use tomato paste and prepare it quite authentically.

I recently visited Bursa Kebap Evi (Angel branch) and was very satisfied with the food and service. I tried the chicken shish and some grilled items — everything was cooked to perfection. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and well-marinated, and the grilled dishes were served hot and fresh. The presentation was nice, and the portions were generous. The staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s a great spot if you’re craving high-quality Turkish grill dishes in a clean and comfortable setting. Highly recommended!

It’s a wonderful taste of Turkish iconic dish İskender ❤️❤️ Me and my family enjoyed our dinner and loved it. Also they have a live acoustic Turkish music even feel more in Türkiye 🧿🧿 I will deffinetly visit again and taste other dishes in the menu… Will highly recommend…
